A Different World: The theme song back story A Different World ran from September 24, 1987 to July 9, 1993, on NBC and aired on Thursday nights at 8:30 PM behind The Cosby Show. The groundbreaking television series followed the lives of African American students at the fictional HBCU Hillman College. One of the interesting aspects of the weekly programs was the theme song which changed several times over the series run. The music was updated but the lyrics remained the same.

The show was canceled during the "Rural Purge" when similar programming like The Andy Griffith Show, The Beverly Hilbillies, Petticoat Junction, and Hee Haw were taken off the air.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Thomas may soon fall in love The Bold and the Beautiful has been teasing viewers for months that a new love interest would soon appear on the horizon for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Fans are hoping this will come to pass and are saying the character deserves much better than what has come his way in recent years. When Pierce Forde had the role from 2015-2018 Thomas was self-assured, fell in love with Sally Spectra, and boldly defied his family in order to help her. Atkinson took over in 2019 as the heir to Forrester Creations and the writers turned Thomas into a shell of his former self.

General Hospital: Fans are not enjoying the new Michael General Hospital fans are overwhelmingly expressing that they are not enjoying this new version of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Viewers are saying the character has become self-righteous, condescending, and downright annoying. He is attempting to throw his weight around and although he is both Corinthos and Quartermaine Michael is falling short.

Christmas afterglow I began taking note of something that happened each year beginning the day after Christmas. I now refer to it as the "afterglow" effect of the holiday. At first, I thought it might take place because a lot of people took down their trees and decorations and there was less demand for electricity. The Young and the Restless should respect veteran characters Soap fans who enjoy both Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless cannot help but notice the disparity when it comes to older veteran actors. Y&R fired Doug Davidson who had been portraying Paul Williams for 40 years. Fans were outraged and even signed a petition but the powers that be ignored their pleas.
