Kathleen Gati on temporary hiatus from portraying Obrecht on 'General Hospital'
Soaps.com and Celeb Dirty Laundry are both reporting that Kathleen Gati will be away from General Hospital for a while. This will be a temporary storyline driven hiatus, so fans need not worry. Robert Scorpio has devised a plan to get the goods on Peter August and Liesl must be out of the picture for the scheme to work. Peter framed Obrecht for his many crimes and no one believes her but Robert, Jason, and Spinelli. Her daughter Britta and her best friend Franco have doubts, but the right people are on her side. With Spinelli's tech savvy, Jason's methods of obtaining information and the District Attorney using legal means to get to the bottom of things, Liesl will eventually be set free. This will take some time so Obrecht fans will not see their favorite character for quite some time. She will however return.

The Proverbial Easter Storm Never Misses
Easter is the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Spring Equinox,(March 21). This is why it can come as early as the third Sunday in March and as late as the fourth Sunday in April. As a child growing up in the 1960's I heard my grandma say something every year that pertained to this annual event that seems to be true. Every time there was rain, hail, snow flurries, cold temperatures and or wind she would say that it was the Easter storm. I began to pay attention and sure enough, in our neck of the woods there would always be an abrupt change in the weather within the week before or the week after Easter Sunday, I have see periods of time where there was rain for more than a week, or extreme heat for weeks at a time during other seasons, but there s always a storm just before or after the Sunday when Christians celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.

Greenleaf Cast Silent On Season 5
It's now April and Greenleaf fans are still in limbo regarding season 5 of the hit show by Oprah Winfrey. The official website as well as the cast of the popular program are all remaining silent. It had been reported earlier that the show had been renewed for a fifth season, but no release date was given. Now because of the worldwide sheltering in place, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, everything is probably on hold. The cast probably has no idea now if, or when production will begin for the fifth season, but fans really want to know. On April 7 Merle Dandridge posted a video of the scene where her character Grace was preaching at church and several fans responded. Most said they were waiting to see the show return and a few asked the actress when production would resume. One response called the video prophetic relating to the coronavirus pandemic. Keith David, who portrays the family patriarch, Bishop Greenleaf simply replied, "Beautiful my child."

Jack and Jill may become a couple on 'The Young and the Restless'
Those who have been watching The Young and the Restless in recent weeks may have noticed that Jill has been hanging out in Genoa City, a little more than usual. She has bee spending time with Chance, who finally apprehended Colin and placed him behind bars. Jill set up a media division for Chancellor Industries and asked Billy and Lily to run it together. This seems to have caused her son a slight respite from his self destructing way of living. It also appears as if a romance might ensue between Bill and Lil, which may have been the agenda all along. On Wednesday, the duo asked Traci to be a part of their team and she said she would think about it. Jill has also been spending a lot of time with her former stepson and it's possible they may reignite the flames that burned out long ago.

Aunt Florence was a woman of strength
My mother’s maternal grandmother was named Florence Prease Ragsdale. I just realized that I never knew her middle name. I began living with Aunt Florence,(pronounced “aint Florence") at the tender age of nine months old. I was told my parents had been arguing outside their apartment and accidentally locked the door with me inside crying. Someone called my grandma, who was Aunt Florence’s daughter and she came and took me away. Aunt Florence had been on her own since age 13, after her mother died. I recall balancing between crushes on boys and still playing with my dolls at that age. I could not imagine having to go to work and raise myself when I was that young but you do what you have to do.
