Jill and Jack may find comfort with each other

Those who have been watching The Young and the Restless in recent weeks may have noticed that Jill has been hanging out in Genoa City, a little more than usual. She has bee spending time with Chance, who finally apprehended Colin and placed him behind bars. Jill set up a media division for Chancellor Industries and asked Billy and Lily to run it together. This seems to have caused her son a slight respite from his self destructing way of living. It also appears as if a romance might ensue between Bill and Lil, which may have been the agenda all along. On Wednesday, the duo asked Traci to be a part of their team and she said she would think about it. Jill has also been spending a lot of time with her former stepson and it's possible they may reignite the flames that burned out long ago.

Jill confided in Jack her fears about her son/ his brother spinning out of control and recently they had a truly revealing conversation. Jill admits that it's time she divorce Colin and she agreed that Jack's plan to deal with Kyle and Theo sounds like a winner. She listened intently as he discussed Dina's losing battle with Alzheimer's disease. Jack has not been romantically linked to anyone since Kerry, and has been focused on his mother's failing health. Soap spoilers and some viewers believe that The Young and the Restless may be about to put these two back together again. Years ago many viewers said they did not think this was a good idea, but on soaps you never know how the writers will deal with certain characters.

Some Y&R fans believed that Jill would forgive her spouse and go off around the world with him again. Tristan Rogers, who portrays Colin had been doing double duty on the CBS sudser and General Hospital where he portrays Robert Scorpio. Rogers was put on contract last year on the ABC daytime drama so he probably will not be available to show up in Genoa City for quite some time. No announcements were given regarding Jess Walton's increased airtime on The Young and the Restless, but clearly the powers that be have a plan for her character. Many fans see Jack and Jill as family, considering she was married to his father John, and her son Billy is Jack's half brother. For this reason not everyone will want to see these two hook up.

It could simply be that Jack and Jill have put their past issues behind them and are bonding as longtime friends and business associates. This connection might go no further and Jess Walton could be off screen once again for long period's of time. Soap Dirt, however, says this may be Jill's breaking point with Colin and she may rebound with her husband's first born son. Mrs. Atkinson has forgiven her husband time and time again only for him to do something more dastardly each time. Now that she and Jack have buried their hatchets and are able to be civil to one another, who knows what may transpire between them. They will, however, have to deal with the attitudes of other Genoa City residents.

Recently everyone was stunned that Kyle walked out on Lola for Summer, but now most see that these two truly love each other. This past week Nick and Phyllis shocked Genoa City by admitting that they are willing to try once more to be a couple. Should John's Abbott's eldest son and his former wife hook up, tongues will really begin to wag. Nikki will be especially unnerved as she considers her former spouse to be a dear friend, but loathes Jill. The two women might even get into a cat fight over the issue as they h train wreck waiting to happen Viewers can only stay tuned and wait and see if this is the direction the writers are headed in.

Viewers should keep in mind that The Young and the Restless is now airing new episodes only on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Classic older programs will be shown on Thursday and Friday until further notice. There has been no indication yet as to which programming will be shown this Thursday and Friday, or on coming weeks so stay tuned. Continue tuning in to this CBS daytime drama and watch your local listings. Shows could be preempted due to local, state, and national coverage related to the Coronavirus. Be on the lookout for updated spoiler alerts and by all means please keep safe until the danger is over. Before we know it The Young and the Restless will be back to business as usual.
