Jack will have his hands full.

Spoiler alerts from Soaps She Knows indicated that a lot of action is coming to Genoa City during the week of April 6-10. Please keep in mind that at some point if the shelter in place is not lifted, new episodes of The Young and the Restless will only be shown Monday-Wednesday with reruns on Thursday and Friday. No specific date has been given for when this will begin so viewers need to watch their local listings. Following is what is projected to take place in coming days, but could be preempted by coronavirus coverage.

The Abbott clan will be busy

The Abbotts will remain in the spotlight with Jack will issue a challenge to Theo and Kyle. It probably has to do with their constant bickering and or their grandmother’s Alzheimer’s disease. Now that Dina's health is declining Jack will want the entire family to rally around the matriarch, including her new grandson. Theo enlisted Kyle’s disgruntled assistant Kendra to dig up dirt on his cousin, but he may put his plan on hold once he sees his grandmother's condition.

Summer will be on guard

Jill will extend an olive branch to someone but spoilers don't say who. There has been no notice of Tristan Rogers returning to The Young and the Restless, so it's probably not Colin she is reaching out too. Summer will execute some type of plot and it could be she is on to Theo and Kendra trying to sabotage Kyle. She is also troubled by her parents hooking up again. She said last week that she knows they love each other, but when they get together, it always ends in disaster. Perhaps she will do something to try to keep them apart. Whatever it is someone will be in trouble with Ms. Newman on the trail.

The Newmans

Abby won’t back down from Phyllis

Phyllis will be back to her old tricks and will interfere with Abby's new project. She just can’t seem to stop harassing the Newman family. She already has Nikki watching her since she is back together with Nikolas, and does not seem to care about making nice with her former inlaws. Nikki is going to be dealing with some problems this week and her former daughter in law just might be one of them. Victoria wants to seek revenge but it's not clear who her target is. She made peace with Billy, but this does not indicate that her emotions which are all over the place won't have her target him. Vicki threw a photo of Nick in the trash at Newman Enterprises, so she may have an ax to grind with her brother. Victor lied that Billy slept with Amanda, and Ms. Sinclair's ex, Ripley is the one who stabbed Victoria. She might decide to go after the lawyer or her victim could be someone completely different.

Soaps She Knows says Victor will refuse to budge, and this is probably related to Adam. On Thursday Adam felt like he had his father dead to rights regarding the death back in Kansas. Previews for the next episode of The Young and the Restless show Adam in the Newman office, making demands to Victor and Victoria. His father may call his bluff because it's possible that dear old dad is innocent. Soap Dirt, Soaps She Knows, Celeb Dirty Laundry and some Y&R viewers all suggest that the same thing. It’s possible that the only crime committed by the Newman patriarch, is covering up for his ex wife, Adam's mother Hope. Spoilers say Adam's plan will blow up in his face, so he may find out that his mom is the one who killed AJ. Spoilers say Victor will decide to take matters into his own hands so he will most likely put his youngest son in his place. This will cause things to become volatile real fast and in the meantime, the animosity between Nick and Adam will go to a new level.

Amanda and Sharon

Phyllis continues to stir up trouble.

Phyllis has been pushing Amanda to listen to her opinions on romance and next week the lawyer will take her new friends advise. Phyllis continues to encourage her buddy to hang out with Nate and continues to point out he’s a doctor and a good catch. Amanda will go out with Dr. Hastings soon and he will go out of his way to romance her but there may still be an obstacle in the way. Spoilers tease that Ms. Sinclair may not be totally over her feelings for Billy but he seems to be moving on. Jill hired her son and Lily Ashby to head the new Chancellor Media division. Billy has made peace with Victoria and it does not look like has Amanda on the brain anymore. Mishael Morgan’s character has not been in one romance since she came to Genoa City, so it’s high time she gets involved with someone.

Amanda takes a chance on Nate

Sharon demanded to go to her doctor’s appointment alone, but she may wish she had taken someone with her for support. Spoilers say she will hear the bad news that the tumor in her breast has not responded to chemotherapy. She returns home in absolute shock, because she thought she was in charge and her treatment was working. Faith and Mariah find her crying.
