Are the Type of Daydreams You Have Affecting How Happy You Feel?
I have always been a daydreamer. Have you? When we daydream we unknowingly wander into such an entirely private place that it is not a subject we often discuss nor something we often think about in relation to our daily lives, but whether you consider yourself to be a prolific daydreamer or not, we all spend from a third to a half of our waking hours daydreaming, albeit often without any conscious acknowledgement that we are doing so.

Jumpstart Tired Winter Skin
The early winter months are in full swing, with crisp, frost laden mornings, bracing, whipping winds, bright blue skies and warm winter sunshine, and while all this wintry weather creates beautiful and dramatic skies it also tends to cause havoc with our complexions.

The Ordinary: Worth the Hype? . Top Story - November 2017.
It is an understatement to say that The Ordinary skincare range has caused a bit of a stir in the blogosphere as of late. Not all of the feedback has been good, with some criticisms that the strength of the active ingredients may be compromised by the affordable packaging and that the simple formulations are not as sophisticated as even marginally more expensive products.

Watching TV Stresses Me Out
It just takes up so much time. That’s the real problem I have with watching TV. And it never seems to be as easy as just deciding not to. Once you expose yourself to it even for a moment, it seems to have an irresistible draw. I always feel as though I am being compelled to watch, the very act of doing so inducing inertia and draining my resolve. It feels like some kind of sucking leech, distracting me with sound and colour while it feasts upon my time, life, and energy. This description is histrionic beyond belief, of course; it’s just TV. But it is true to say that I am often left with a desolate feeling of loss after I have inadvertently watched one, then two, then three episodes of something.

The Q1 Identity Crisis
I can’t think of anyone I know who hasn’t found their 20s to be a tumultuous tidraid of decisions that have ultimately left them feeling uncertain or unfulfilled by the direction their life is taking. This isn’t a feeling that is unceasing throughout the whole decade, there are other jubilant times when everything seems on track, chances taken turn into promising opportunities and friendships and relationships blossom.

Why Publish Publicly?
I’ve done a few bits of casual blogging here and there in the past and have been wondering if it is something I should get back into, at least for the next few months as I’m going through a period of change in my life and feels as though it might be a nice accompaniment to help me achieve my goal for the year. It’s one you will have certainly heard before — it might even be one of your own resolutions for the year; to be more creative.

Epilating = Low Maintenance Hair Removal?
Why epilate at all? Well of course don’t at all if you love the body hair you have! I always wish the rest of my body hair was like the hair on my arms; in the winter it’s dark hair on pale skin which I like less because I somehow feel it’s too much of a contrast but in the summer it’s golden and fluffy on tanned skin and it looks all at one and like that’s just how it’s meant to be. When it comes to elsewhere however no such luck; it’s dark and coarse, there’s a hell of a lot of it and I just haven’t been able to reconcile myself with how that looks. If that’s the way you feel too, then here are a few reasons you may choose epilation over other forms of hair removal:

Why I Haven’t Used a Face-Wipe in 5 Years
In recent years, the world of skincare has been completely revolutionised by the rise of beauty bloggers and YouTubers. Like never before, the amount of information available to all consumers on how to care for our skin has exploded. From beauty gurus trialing and reviewing endless products on our behalf, to bloggers such as Caroline Hirons and Nadine Baggott who have worked in the industry for years and can offer us their professional expertise with the science to back it up.

Feeling Paralysed With Worry
Do you ever find yourself, perhaps with a cup of tea or coffee in hand some time early in the morning, just sitting there staring out into space? Outwardly you may appear relaxed and serene but on the inside you are dealing with a whirlwind of endless to-dos, whens and hows. Then, when you finally come to yourself you realise that you're already running late and could have done two of the tasks that were on your mind in the time you've wasted thinking about it; you're already failing.
