British Chancellor Rishi Sunak Unveils New Measures To Help Poorest Brits
British Chancellor Of The Exchequer Rishi Sunak has unveiled a bumper pack of measures aimed at helping the poorest Brits through the cost of living crisis. Amongst the new measures being introduced is a new £1500 payment which will form part of a massive £21bn package. The new funds were made available to help people with the cost of their energy bills which have been steeply rising due to inflation caused by the side effects of Russia's war with Ukraine.

Around A Quarter Of Young People Take Additional Jobs To Make Ends Meet
It has been revealed that almost a quarter of young people aged 18 to 35 have been forced in to taking an additional job to make ends meet. This is due to the rising prices of many of the every day products that are available in shops and supermarkets across the country. The new findings come as a result of research undertaken by KIS Finance who are one of many commercial brokers who try to help consumers find the best possible deal for bridging loans and development finance.

Emirates FA Cup Final Helps Promote Sustainability
Football fans across the country will have witnessed Liverpool FC winning the 2021/22 FA Cup by beating Chelsea in a penalty shoot out at Wembley stadium. This is the second trophy that Liverpool have won this season along side the Carabao Cup which they won at the end of February against the same opponents Chelsea. On that occasion Liverpool took the trophy following a penalty shoot out which they won 11-10. This was a record ninth league cup victory for the Reds in the first EFL Cup Final since 2017 not to feature Manchester City as they had been knocked out in the fourth round by West Ham United.

Rishi Sunak Delivers Spring Statement
Rishi Sunak has delivered his Spring Statement to the House Of Commons in which he gave details on how the economy was managing in the light of the Covid 19 pandemic and in the aftermath of the Brexit vote. Following the vote to leave the European Union, many people who were living in the UK from the European Union, or who were working for UK based companies will have had to leave unless they qualified for a so called “Settled Status”. This may have left many businesses who depend on workers from the European Union short handed as they will now have a number of vacancies which they will have to fill in order to cater for the clients they serve. Russian Athletes Banned From Paralympic Games
The 2022 Paralympic games was officially launched on the 4th March in Beijing in China. Countries from all around the world will have begun to win medals in their chosen sports and disciplines. Due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, there has been wide outrage amongst the global sporting community who insist that Russia should be banned from the games. Due to this, a ban was put in place to stop Russia from competing in any sport at the games. The International Paralympic Committee however, didn't follow this ban at first and felt it would be OK for all Russian and Belarussian parathletes to compete under a neutral flag.
