The Cosmic Writers Of Humanity
Every night at midnight, the purple clouds came out to dance with the blushing sky. And that was the cue for star writers like me to put our light pens down and let the star signs unit work on editing the script for the next day’s show on earth.

How a few code words changed the world as we know it...
'We are sorry to inform you that you did not get this role....'. Simi did not even bother to read the rest of the letter as she crumpled it and crushed it with her foot. This was god knows how many in a string of rejection letters from various technology companies she had applied to. And what frustrated her the most was that AI made this decision so she could do nothing about it. As of 2033, AI almost had a god-like status - nobody questioned the AI. In some counties, it was considered a crime even to say anything against AI.

And Then There Was Leap Year
LET'S MEET HARIKA ARORA HA - 215, known as Harika Arora on planet Earth, was feeling very grateful. Her gratitude stemmed from the fact that despite delays at HeavensGate Station, her Light Ray Shuttle had made it to its destination on time. After checking into her room, she enjoyed a long bath with enough time for a stroll on the charming blue beach. And here she was in the lobby sipping her Pina Colada - her heaventop set for All Hands Meeting at 6:00 PM earth time.

Possessed By A Ghost
HALLOWEEN NIGHT We drove up the snowy, winding road towards the cozy A-frame cabin. It was pretty dark already. Riley had wanted to wait until all the trick-or-treaters were done before leaving for the weekend getaway. She had told me in that no-nonsense tone, 'Tina - We loved Halloween as kids, and there is no way we are leaving before every last candy has gone.'

From Beyond The Grave
PASSING AWAY PARTY ‘I am running late. 10:30 to London Paddington is delayed due to the protests on fake jewels. You should be….’ Anjali heard the monotonous announcement on the train right before the conversation with her grandma ended abruptly. Her face was glistening with sweat, and her long black hair came out of her unruly braid. Her brown eyes shone with joy, and her dimples stood out as she could not stop smiling. She had been running around the house in frenzied excitement the entire morning, trying to get it ready for her grandpa’s passing away party. A fancy name for his first death anniversary. Today was exactly a year since Mr Moorthy’s passing away at the ripe age of 98. And he had requested that they have a party with games and all. She was looking forward to celebrating him with dozen of his close friends.

An Evening In Paris
One of the highlights of my MBA in LBS was the MBAT trip. I should probably explain what the TLA - three-lettered acronym mean: MBA - Masters in Business Administration, LBS - London Business School and MBAT - Masters in Business Administration Tournament. MBAT is a fancy excuse to get drunk disguised as a sports tournament between MBA schools.
