OPINION | Scoop (2024), "This is the story, the only story": The Role of Journalism in Unveiling Social Issues
“This is the story, the only story” - Scoop (2024 Film) They say, there are always two sides of a coin; and in a world where social classes are evident, the other side of the coin will be the marginalized, the abused while the latter is the upper class or perhaps, the abuser. These individuals from distinct sides will always have their own story to tell – their truth. ‘SLAY!’: WHEN WOMEN PROTEST WITH STYLES
The society that we are living in was built anchored with patriarchal ideologies — so many restrictive, exhausting, and unrealistic rules and standards for women! ‘You shouldn’t be like that’, ‘Don’t act like a man’, ‘Be like this’, ‘Be like that’ and ‘blah blah blah’, and if you wear fearless clothing, it’s your fault you get objectified for dressing up and expressing yourself through a piece of cloth. Where would you be in this society?

Dear Barbie, the younger me,
Dear Barbie, the younger me, Ever since you were a little girl, you’ve been facing the brutality of this society. It was designed to inflict you by imposing unrealistic and constrictive standards, and those are all mercilessly bestowed upon you. They took away your voice, they zipped it, because they think that it doesn’t suit you, and it wouldn’t make you the modest lady that they aspire you to be.
