When It's Meant to Be, It's Only a Matter of Time
I believe that when something is truly meant to be, it will be. It could take a day, a month, or a year, but it is there somewhere waiting for you. Whatever it is that is meant to be for you. Maybe it's a true love that you have broken up with or a family member or friend that has gone to prison. Maybe it's a child and parent relationship that needs to be worked on.

The Party to End All Parties
When I was first dating my boyfriend, there was a girl that was married to a guy I knew from school. So it came as a surprise when she was trying to be up my boyfriends' butt. I mean literally. This girl did not care that he had a girlfriend and did not like me for the simple fact that I was around him period. She hated that he was bringing me around his friends.

A Reason to Be Proud
I am a proud Mom! I have such a loving, wonderful daughter. At times she is a handful like her Daddy, but I wouldn't trade her for anything in this world. She is trying out for sports this year if the school allows for it, if not she will try out next year. She is also starting dance classes, possibly going back into girl scouts, and she is also in strings. When she can she will be going into choir as well as JROTC. She goes to church and tells people about God and that God loves them. She has voiced her choice for the 2018 judge elections. She is a sweetheart and cares so much about the people in her life. She stands up for herself with bullies. I have so many reasons to be proud of this little girl. When I am sick and can't breathe she grabs my inhaler, a drink, and asks if I need her to call 911. She makes sure I have it with me at all times and if I leave the house she makes sure I take it with me. if I have an episode she is asking to go with me so she can keep me safe.

Happy 27th Birthday, Baby
Honey, what can I say about your birthday? I am so glad that you made it into this world. I am sorry your sister did not, but I am so glad that instead of being with her, you are with me. I am glad you made it with minimal scarring. I am glad that you made it to the 23rd year when we would meet and become what we are today. I am glad that I have been able to spend these days with you. I look to another year after each one passes and I can't wait to be celebrating it with you again next year.

Goodbye Angel
Dear Aunt Janice, I have always loved you, you were always my favorite aunt. You were fun and we had a good time together. I will miss all the times we had together at family events. If not for your cheery face I may not have gone to any events at all. Being around family I barely knew or didn't know at all was always very uncomfortable for my sister and myself. I always had a great time with you. At Christmas time you always made it enjoyable, and I loved your cash present more than something I couldn't use you always knew what I needed. Thank god you never gave me ugly weird sweaters with Santa or kitty cats or dogs that bark. you had better taste than that you gave me money.

First Love or Last Love
Would you rather be someone's first love or last love? I used to think that being someone's first love was a big thing. Don't get me wrong it is, but I think its even better to someone's last love. Especially if you are with the right person, maybe even you are not only their first love, but their last love as well.

A Sign From My Love
One day as I walking my daughter Amelia along the same path we took every day to school, we came across this piece of broken rock that resembles a heart. As many times as we've walked right by and never saw this, one day we notice it. She says, " Mom look it's a heart. Daddy sent this to you so you know he's thinking of you!"

Mother or Monster-in-Law
I married my husband almost one year ago, I at one point in time thought that I'd be getting a great mother in law. I thought that my marriage was going to be better than others because I wasn't going to have this evil mother in law who I hated, or one that hated me just for taking their son. Boy was I wrong. It started before we even got married. His mother and grandmother even tried to make sure we didn't get married.
