Should You Buy a DSLR?Top Story - December 2017
Hi, everyone. I'm your run-of-the-mill regular Joe when it comes to cameras. I basically have used phone cameras ever since Nokia came up with the fantastic N95 and never have gone back... till now. I, like many users, got tired of the pics from the inbuilt phone cameras and bought one after watching the absolutely wonderful and detailed pictures uploaded by my photographer friends. Here is my experience with it for the past 30 days and whether you should buy one:

5 Family Movies to Watch this Christmas
So Christmas is coming around and now is probably the perfect time to watch a couple of those good old movies on the tv with your family or folks. This is a list of my favourite movies to watch over the holidays and since they are family friendly, you'll roll over with laughter as you watch these. Some are on Netflix, some on DVD or VOD, but nearly everyone of them is a fun treat to watch...

Is Rey's Parentage Finally Explained in 'The Last Jedi'?Top Story - December 2017
*Spoilers* The Last Jedi tried to basically solve a lot of things, one way or the other. Some startling truths and some not so gentle breaking away of the standards of the old trilogy. But there was one question that had plagued every fan of the Force Awakens. And that was who is Rey and where does she come from? In The Last Jedi, Kylo Ren tells Rey that she has known all along and they were junk traders that sold her off for some drug money and basically ran off and died and were buried in unmarked graves on Jakku. This would be a great thing because it shows anyone from the galaxy could be a hero, not just of a particular family legacy (read: Skywalker). But were they really? Is Rey's origin story really that much of a non issue in the trilogy? Or is there some darker origin we do not know? Here are five reasons why this was not the case...

DIY Raspberry Pi Hobby Computer Build for Less Than $180
Hello everyone. These days everyone needs a computer. From work to fun, it is a necessity. But while there are many cheap older computers available, generally they fail because of the demands of modern technology. So what I had in mind was to create a cheap build, using only the parts I had available around the house. The great thing about this build is that you can replace anything in this list except the USB hub and the processor and it will work as a charm. This is what I came up with (note that the Raspberry Pi was the only new thing I bought, the rest was available). If you want to build an exact replica of mine go below. Note that this is a workstation build for gaming and video editing; the processor requirement will go up considerably so look elsewhere.

Trump, Brexit and the Politics of Isolationism
This year has been a tumultuous one for British history, defining the final breakaway of the United Kingdom from its somewhat rocky marriage with the European Union. Winston Churchill’s idea of a United States of Europe seems more impossible today than even when it was first proposed.

The Batman Film We Deserved
With the coming of the new Batman Versus Superman Dawn of Justice movie, I thought that a review of all Batman's was required. Note that I do not go into animated series here, because then Kevin Conroy would have no comparison, not to mention that the 1992-1995 series is far better than any movie that has come so far, including the Dark Knight Trilogy. After closely watching all of the Batman live action movies in one go (believe me, I have a very sad life), I came to one main conclusion: Bale and the Dark Knight Trilogy is the best Batman portrayal on screen. Now, I can see a lot of fan boys of Michael Keaton rising up with pitchforks and tar, but I will elaborate on this the best I can. As for the Val Kilmer fan boys, tough luck. The Clooney film fans, please stay 10 km away from me at all times, especially when you are wearing leather. Now then, on to the show:

5 Holmesian-Style Shows to Get You By While You Wait for 'Sherlock'
We all love the sleuth from 221 B Baker Street. The legend of Sherlock Holmes has inspired and enthralled the masses for generations. His remarkably astute deductions from the most obscure of observations and has made him the love of countless millions. While some might watch the mainstream shows like Sherlock or movies like those of Robert Downey Jr, here I wish to speak on something more obscure, shows inspired by or similar to the Sherlock Holmes tales but with various adaptations to suit the modern era. Let us begin. It is after all, most elementary.

Men Of Steel: The Top 5 Live Action Supermen
With the return of Superman to the little screen in the form of Tyler Hoechlin on Supergirl and Henry Cavill as the big blue wonder on the big screen, I thought it would be prudent to do a roundup of all the actors who have ever played the boyscout ranked in the order of greatness.

5 Cancelled Shows That Need to Be Restarted Via Netflix
This is the golden age of television. No doubt about it. But in this age of amazing t.v shows like Game of Thrones, Agents of Shield, House of Cards etc there are also lesser t.v shows that have been unfortunately cancelled due to the ineptitude of the viewing audience. Ratings are now king these days and some genuinely good shows go down the drain due to the general dumbness of the viewing public. Even a show as worthy as Star Trek suffered from bad ratings, but you don't cancel a show just because of that. It picked up later in syndication. With Netflix, we now have the opportunity to revive shows on the streaming giant, and here I submit my top list of shows that need to be revived.

The Man In the Iron Mask Revealed
Ever since the identity of zoom was revealed and the sojourn into Earth two, people have been talking and discussing the man in the Iron Mask. However unlike the normal people speculation I believe to some extent the code has been cracked by a hint in the latest episode of the flash. Here are the hints:
