10 Reasons Why Star Trek: Beyond Will Disappoint Trekkies
I am a trekkie. I genuinely believe in the term and believe it was what Roddenberry envisioned for us. I have watched most of the episodes and all of the movies. So it was with great trepidation I went to see Star Trek Beyond after the two movies of the Abramverse. And it turned out to be the worst Star Trek movie ever. Here's ten reasons why:

5 Best Fantasy Movie Speeches
Fantasy and sci fi movies have speeches galore to inspire the huddled masses to something greater, something higher themselves. In this roundup we will discuss five speeches that, according to my point of view are the best of what fantasy cinema has to offer. Whether it be inspiration, independence, survival, all these movies have the correct formula for speeches to last forever.

Batman The Killing Joke: A Short Review
I am a huge Batman fan. And as far as the joker goes, I believe he is the purest evil ever introduced into the DC universe. A man without beginnings or ends, a psychopath hell bent on reducing the Batman into a copy of himself.. Yet the killing joke comic was a great favourite of mine when it came to comics, making a much more human joker, a man that was destroyed by just one bad day. But then DC decided to create an animated film, one where the great stars like Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy would reprise their roles. It almost seemed we were taken back into our childhoods, with a return to the voice actors of the animated series. And yet, when I saw the movie, I was bitterly disappointed. Here I give my reasons. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

The Flashpoint Fan Cast for CW TV
Ok so we now know that the hit TV show the Flash is going to have it's first episode of season 3 called the Flashpoint. A clear cut reference to the Flashpoint Paradox, one of DC's hit comic books that includes Barry Allen going into the past and saving his mother from the Reverse-Flash thus creating an alternate timeline where the Flash never existed and the world is a vastly different place as it was before. This world is now a nightmarish hell on earth type of scenario. Now the first part of the flashpoint has already happened in the show and the second part is set to start in season 3. However, as DC has decided to limit their tv and movie universes to prevent continuity errors, they have made sure that all major movie characters will not appear in film therefore limiting Batman, Superman, Wonder woman, Aquaman and Cyborg from appearing in the Flashpoint. This is my fan casting, considering the what if situation if studios were a bit more intelligent and allowed original tv characters they themselves created to appear as the original characters, making a multiverse proper if you will. Except for one reasonable exception, all of these characters have been tv versions of the roles I select for them or been in some form of DC television.

Is Season 3 the Beginning of Sith Ezra?
So as you all know, roughly 8 hours ago, give or take, a new video was released with a 3 min clip from Star Wars Rebels Season 3. Now in that clip, the lead character Ezra Bridger, has some very relevant changes. He's more confident, his hair is pulled back making him look older and sleeker and he has a shiny, new green lightsaber. But most of all, Ezra is confident and using the force like a seasoned Jedi.

Why We Need William Shatner In the Next Trek Film
Ladies and gentlemen, as August 2016 draws near, we find ourselves drawn closer and closer to the third Star Trek movie, Star Trek Beyond. Indeed the franchise has done well for itself, coming close to it's 50 year anniversary. With new questions of the future of the Federation things seem to be rather interesting for the future. Justin Lin is at the helm, and things seem to be going full warp speed ahead.

How Over-Political Correctness Is Ruining Nerdy Cinema
This is an article that has been stuck in my mind for several days. For the same reason as the article heading, I was afraid not to type it. However, I decided to write it. First off, let's make some things clear. I am not a male chauvinist, sexist, racist or any other type of ist you prefer. I belong to two major minority communities in both religion and race in America and believe strongly in the fair representation of races, ideologies, religions and sexes in mainstream media. However, I feel I must type this in order to highlight a problem that I feel is very common these days in Hollywood.

5 Ways to Make Arrow Great Again In Season 5
Arrow is a show that is very close to our hearts. It is the CW's primal show, from which all the great comic book tv shows we have come to know and love have been derived. Be it Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Vixen etc to name a few. But Arrow itself has been suffering from a dearth of good writing and good story progression. It has become stale and very much tiring to say the least. So here are my five points to make arrow a more interesting show after Season 4. *Spoilers abound.

Is Tommy Destined to Return to Arrow in Season 5?
The last episode of arrow left a sadness in our hearts that was due to the phenomenal acting of all the team. Finally after so much time one could see true good acting in a show that has had some problems since the middle of season 3. But today I'm about to propose something that has been on my mind since this episode aired: Tommy is coming back. The reasons are as follows:

5 Best Vintage Shows We Need To See Today
We all love sitting down to watch the old TV shows from back in the days when sex, drugs and teenage angst weren't the only things that TV writers wrote about. Here I do a roundup of all the old TV shows I personally think are necessary and engaging in today's materialistic and fast-paced world. These are representative of a simpler time, where things were more clear and more fun, where the ambiguity between good and evil, the grey areas in between were less. There may not have been a lot of action but there definitely was a lot of drama. Some shows in these really defined the TV industry. These were the pioneers, the men and women that trail blazed through an unforgiving and unknown terrain. Come with me now to the time of cheesiness and campy TV galore. Who knows? You might actually like it better...
