The Lion and the Cats

The Lion and the Cats

By Omar Mohammed Published about a year ago 1 min read

In a sunlit savanna, a mighty lion named Leo ruled with pride. One day, he stumbled upon a group of playful cats—sleek tabbies and fluffy kittens—chasing a butterfly near his favorite acacia tree. Amused, Leo roared softly, expecting them to scatter. Instead, the cats froze, then curiously approached, their tiny paws pattering.

"Why aren't you afraid?" Leo asked, his mane ruffling in the breeze.

The smallest kitten, Tinker, squeaked, "You're big, but you seem kind!"

Leo chuckled, intrigued. The cats invited him to play, teaching him to pounce lightly and chase shadows. In return, Leo shared tales of his jungle adventures. By dusk, they were friends, curled up together under the stars.

From then on, Leo protected the cats, and they brought joy to his lonely days. The savanna buzzed with their unlikely bond, proving friendship knows no size.
