Have you ever wondered why people always want more? It’s like when you finish one piece of candy 🍬and think, “Hmm, maybe just one more won’t hurt.” Let’s discuss some facts behind this thought.

Firstly, we like learning new stuff. It could be about stars, tiny bugs, cooking recipes, DIY, anything! Learning feels like solving an incredible mystery.

Then, there are the things we own. We all like having stuff. It could be clothes, shoes, bags, or cool gadgets. Having more things can make us feel happy and safe. Plus, it’s cool to show our friends what we have.

Ambition is a big word that means we always want to do better. It’s like playing a game and reaching new levels. Once we win one, we’re excited to try and win the next.

We are motivated to desire more from our friends and others around us. Sometimes, we want to do the same fun things our friends do. We say, “I want that!” when we see ads for cool stuff on TV or online.

As we get older and better, we still want more. Like getting medals of success, getting new skills and knowledge is like getting new abilities.

So, why do you think we always want more? Do you feel the same way? Let me know what you think!

Interesting questions. I do think this has quite a bit to do with the socialization process, but self-expansion might just be hardwired into us from birth. It is one factor expressed in many facets, not simply in concrete items to possess, but in reaching new heights of being through transformation. To me, it is evidence of that infinite part within us that cannot be satisfied for long, but when it is not nurtured in the right way (as with just about anything) it may manifest in less than positive habits or practices. The great news is that we ALWAYS have the opportunity for beneficial change!
