Going to School
Teacher's lecture and writings on the blackboard Testing tomorrow! ******* What going to school was like when I went to school. Getting up to eat breakfast and choosing what to wear. Making sure to watch the clock so I didn't miss the bus and walking to the bus stop. Getting to school and heading to my locker to get my needed materials and usually rushing because my bus was usually the last one in for some reason or one of the few late buses. Headed to homeroom waiting for announcements and the pledge. Off and running to my classes now.

Mickey Mouse creator
We all know who Mickey Mouse's creator was, I hope. It was none other than Walt Disney. In the book 'Walt Disney An American Original' written by Bob Thomas which is a biography that describes Walt's childhood through adulthood and how he got his start by following his dreams no matter what it took. Walt Disney was a person who would let you know if your work was good enough for him or not in many ways. He did fulfill his ultimate goal when his two famous amusement parks were built on the coasts. Who remembers watching his show?

What really makes a good parent?
What does parent education really mean? I have just finished reading a book entitled 'Kids Under Construction' by Ricki D. Pavlu a pastor, who is also a parent. Throughout this book he shares his memories of raising his children and giving hints and tips to new parents and to those who have been in this grand profession for years. It is a great book that to me brought the sacred and secular together for we were all created by the one great parent who we were made in his image. Parents are our first teachers as so was God. Pray!

I Didn’t Mean to Disappear
I didn’t plan to vanish from Vocal, not for this long... No dramatic exit, and it wasn't caused by any kind of creative burnout- I didn't make any grand announcement either. I simply stepped away for “a little while, yet it turned out to be longer than I thought,” and then life quietly rewrote the script.

Measuring Value
You are an employee that goes beyond the "craft to execution" and "problem-solving to initiative". You bring strategic impact along with your market vision that directly influences that company's bottom line. But your rank and net pay in the hands of your employer does not change. Not because you are not valuable to them but because they can not afford your services at the market rate nor can they re-design the upper echelon to accommodate your growth and talents without causing "waves". If you give far too much for the same old, you are the majority of the talent stuck within dormant companies that have no systems of recognition of talent based on merit.
