My First Month on Vocal and Discovering There Are More Writers Than Readers
After spending my first month on Vocal, I have started to notice something interesting about the platform. There are a lot of talented writers here, people who put time, thought, and emotion into their work, yet it seems there are far more writers than readers.

One Story Closer To My Final Vocal Story. Content Warning.
Introduction You may see that as clickbait but it is actually a true statement for all of us. I am starting this because it is close to midnight so I am going to stay up and do midnight things before I crawl into my bed.

Anywhere?
Anywhere, anywhere. If you are with me. As the sun fell. Peace. Anywhere, anywhere. With her. As I fell. "Anywhere?" She said. "Anywhere," I said. "Anywhere you want. If you are with me. It is peace. No place I want to be. If you are not there." "But," she said, "what if there came a day you want to walk?" "That day will not come," I said.Β "I want you to be with me. With no end." Day to day, she was with me. Any day, any place, peace was with her. But the war came. Blood fell, and so we had to walk.Β "Anywhere?" She said. "Anywhere," I said. "Anywhere you want. If you are with me." Day to day. Walk to walk. Sun fell. Day came. Blood fell. Peace was with her. Peace was with me. Anywhere. Anywhere. As the sun fell. Peace was there. Peace was with her. For her, I had to let her go. So she was free. As they caught me. I was at peace. As she was at peace. "Anywhere?" they asked. "Anywhere," I said. She was anywhere, they were not. Caught, yes. I was. But at peace, yes.Β Anywhere, anywhere.

All "Raise Your Glass To America" Toasts
My bimonthly unofficial challenge fell on July, and what could be better than to put out a challenge for a celebratory toast to America for its 250-year anniversary of independence! I've had a lot of fun reading the entries, ranging from pure celebratory and patriotic toasts to tongue-in-cheek wishes for the country to correct its current course.
