Poems to Gift Your Lover
Every day we give each other little gifts whether it be the smile we offer the stranger on the street, or the small bids for conversation we open up to each other moment by moment. A comment about the beauty of the sky, asking about each other's day, or even just giving the person you love space when they need it can all be small gifts we offer the ones we l0ve on a daily basis.

Vocal Media Writers Collaboration Facebook Group
**UPDATE 2-15-24: Now Free Join!** Hello. I wanted to talk again about the Vocal Media Writers Collaboration FB group. Firstly, it should have had a shorter name; I’m aware of that. Anyway, I posted a day or two ago about the group with a very technical and methodical approach. However, despite a lot of my post being that way, thanks to my years of freelancing, I wanted to talk about it in less of a “stuff-shirt” way and more of a way that is me, and much more casual.

Musings on the Misplaced Challenge
With the Misplaced challenge closed, here are my thoughts, my collated entries, and my recommended reads. My thoughts I thought this one was a lot of fun. I wrote four new entries for this challenge, and entered an oldie from last year that I thought fit the brief as well. Getting inside the head of a lost object was an easy one, which either means I nailed it, or I did it very, very badly. I liked that there were lots of ways to interpret the prompt. I hope Vocal give us more prompts like this one.

There's a Fire...
We all love a dragon. They are part of popular culture from how to train yours to the one belonging to Pete. They’re the stuff of childhood fantasy and adulthood musing. Talking of which, check out this masterful tale by L.C. Schäfer, if you haven’t already:

In the lost stance of life. Top Story - February 2024.
In the lost stance of life Nothingness is the land where my thoughts belong a little too often. The art of wandering in the lost ocean of opportunities while creating the dreams I want to stride upon is the skill I have mastered in the ride of life. Stirred by the beacon of hope in the cup of blossoming hot coffee, I decided to write a tale of victory over defeat, a tale of joy triumphing over the sadness and atrocity of darkness. But as I walk upon this journey called life, the menace of time plonks and plunges me into the blindsided trance of nothingness. Our dreams are often shunned by externality as we are deemed delusional in uproars. Often it becomes our fuel as we turn the bitterness of words into the ounces of grit and determination that propel us forward.
