Writing in the Quiet
Lately, I’ve been wondering if I should give up on writing. Not because I don’t love it. I do. Maybe too much. But there’s this quiet exhaustion that comes from pouring pieces of yourself onto a page and still feeling invisible afterward. Like no matter how honest you are, how hard you try, how much you revise, it never feels like enough. Not good enough. Not important enough. Not successful enough.

Writers vs. Filmmakers
This is the opening chapter of a series I’ve been shaping about the quiet, invisible split between writers and filmmakers, a divide I’ve lived inside my whole creative life. I wanted to write this in a simple, everyday voice, the way I’d explain it to a friend over coffee. No jargon, no pressure, just the truth of how two different creative minds can look at the same story and see two completely different worlds. If you’ve ever wondered why the page and the screen feel like two separate planets, this is where the map begins.

Last Set on a Tuesday
It was a long night at Sunset Show Bar. The lights blinked above the stage, neon bulbs that hadn’t been changed in ages, and the sound system was getting terrible.
