I am anonymous, and I am lost
On a path whose beginning is unseen, and whose end is unknown.
Every day, a new dust settles in my eyes,
And I… I do not know why I was ever found.
Perhaps we are the forgotten ones…
Perhaps I strayed from the path they told us to take.
Perhaps the "why" of it lies in the future of a homeland
Where a blurred image was painted for everyone,
And imposed upon us.
We were not deemed worthy of living;
Perhaps we have come only to stay alive in the dark,
And to die in an endless sorrow.
An unfinished agony rains down upon my entire being.
The wise ones were driven into exile,
And...
Every day, I am older than yesterday,
And I think to myself:
Perhaps, after all,
We should have never been found...
