Talking Hearts Couples Edition card prompts:

What's your primary love language? Has that changed over time?

If you were a wrestler, what would your entrance song be?

The easy one first: If you were a wrestler, what would your entrance song be?

John: He asked me and I said I know what yours is, but I will answer after you.

His answer: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, or Jimmy Dean - Big Bad John!

My answer: Big Bad John!

Denise: A song that has always been with me forever is the house of the rising sun. I don't know why either, but that song comes to mind anytime a special song is mentioned. My choice for this question is AJ Lee - Let's Light It Up! My meaning, let's have some fun here, bring on excitement and enthusiasm.

That wasn't hard! Now, moving on!

Next: What's your primary love language? Has that changed over time?

John: First John asked what that means and I said, I think it is how you show love the most to those you love. He then said without hesitation, "Teasing". That is for sure. He doesn't tease people he doesn't know or doesn't care about.

It hasn't changed much over time. Maybe the teasing is not hurtful, and it may have been in the past.

Denise: I had to think about this. Today, my primary love language is listening, and hugging and telling loved ones that I love you! I enjoy gift giving too, whether it is a small thoughtful gift, or doing for a loved one.

It used to be doing for others at the expense of myself. Codependency I learned it was called. Not my favorite name but it fit.

A Couples Love

Love includes wrestling

Not my favorite, but nuzzling

is one of mine. Sometimes

being told he is bad at times

reminds me that he thinks he is bad

big and bad John. I'm glad

he thinks highly of himself

Doesn't concern me

He could never be

hurting me, never has. Why

he is my love, my hubby, my

sweetie pie. And we are older

and more mature, and bolder

than some. No time for glum

no sitting on our bum

Too much living to do.

Love you boo!
