Julie Lacksonen, creator of the popular Aeolian Tales, became a New York Times Best-Selling Author posthumously when her series was produced by Netflix. [Hasn't happened] Aeolian is Spanish for wind. [Greek, not Spanish] It is also the name for the minor mode in music. [True]

Catharsis or Cure for Boredom?
I know we often think about why we did or began something, but I wonder why I ever stopped. I used to draw. Art was my love and my passion. I loved creative writing, and I was an honors English student throughout my entire school career. And then,…… life.

The People's Economist
When historians and literary critics examined Dr. Anthony Chan’s writings after his death, they encountered a body of work that was difficult to categorize. Was he an economist who happened to write exceptionally well? A teacher disguised as a market strategist? A public intellectual who moved comfortably among academic research, financial markets, and storytelling? Or was he something far rarer—a translator who spent an entire lifetime converting the intimidating language of economics into conversations ordinary people could understand?

RIP Me
Chloe Rose: Loving Mother, Friend, and Writer. The Official Notice from the office of Unfiltered Chloe: Contrary to recent rumors (which I have apparently started), I have not died. I've simply been missing from Vocal long enough to warrant an obituary.

Nora Roberts
Nora Roberts has compiled an anthology entitled 'The Magic Circle' that is comprised of two novels entitled 'Captivated' and 'Entranced'. 'Captivated' is the storyof Morgana Donovan that is a witch or is she? She knows the skills, but how does she use them. She meets Noah Kirkland at her store, and he and she feel something, but not sure what though. Each of them learns a lot about families and what is important to living and wanting various relationships. 'Entranced' is the story of Mel and a certain cop and how they help each other during an investigation. From 'Captivated' the character of Sebastian is at the center point of this story for it's his special talent that goes through the workout this time. These two stories are different but similar.

LinkedIn sucks
Yes, I said it. LinkedIn, a well renowned social networking platform for professionals, is a letdown. How many times have professionals like yourself applied for a job or reached out to a connection and it goes nowhere? Some of it is just part of the process and some of it is incredibly frustrating. I’m witnessing LinkedIn turn into Facebook or Instagram with people posting their personal updates that have nothing to do with networking or jobs. Yes, I’m glad you had a baby but LinkedIn isn’t the place for that. I don’t care about your random rant about your relationship on there either. This is not a therapy session but a networking platform. It’s just my opinion.
