Tesla is simply different. We drove through the new version of the Model 3

The Czech representation of Tesla is busy. In recent weeks, it has opened several new charging stations outside Prague – for example in Pilsen, České Budějovice or Ústí nad Labem. What's more, on Thursday it opened a new center in Průhonice, where the only Czech branch moved from space insufficient space in Vysočany.

Also on this occasion, we tried a new version of the model with the apt name Model 3.

It's not just a car, it's a lifestyle tied to a certain community of people.

Just an exaggerated phrase, you would think. But when you get behind the wheel of the latest Model 3 Long Range, you understand. Like me, a few moments after I started – or rather, turned on this Tesla, which rolled off the production line in January of this year.

When driving, despite its relatively friendly price and unobtrusive appearance, you will inevitably feel as if you are a member of a refined society.

It doesn't really matter if you want it or not, this VIP club will just get you. Probably like me, when I came across "another" enthusiast at the intersection with a distinctive T on the hood, of which there are already about a thousand in our country. The chauffeur gestured amicably, with a slight mischievous smile.But the feeling of exclusivity is far from the feeling of driving alone. In connection with this, I can't even think of any other words than that you feel like you're on a cloud behind the wheel. The car goes smoothly, quietly and really briskly.

Only acceleration from zero to a hundred in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 233 kilometers per hour speak for themselves. Both are caused by two independent electric motors that digitally control the torque of the front and rear wheels. On a single charge, the battery can handle up to 614 kilometers.

The only change in parameters compared to previous generations of the "threesome" can be seen in the case of the range, which is a third longer. After delivery, it is also possible to purchase the acceleration boost package, which pulls the acceleration from zero to one hundred to 3.7 seconds.What has grown, however, is the price, which for the basic version starts at one million and 325 thousand. Nevertheless, we can still say that with everything this car has to offer, its price is quite popular.

Further changes have been made to small but noticeable details, both in the case of the exterior and interior of the vehicle, which also features an inductive phone charger, double windshields or a smart electric trunk.Although the white design of the interior, with which I had the honor, can be impractical in many respects in normal use, with getting into the car it gave me an intense vau effect. The stark, futuristic interior looks youthful and ferocious.

In short, it targets a modern customer with time-proportional requirements. One example for all: Are you on your way charging your car? So you can watch Netflix, grease digicards or just play your favorite music on Spotify and watch the sky through the glass roof.

When you finally get started, and local legislation allows you to do so, you may also welcome the presence of autopilot. You turn it on simply, double-pressing the right stick behind the wheel. However, I would rather leave the evaluation of its parameters and abilities to experts.
