2022 Subaru BRZ Coupe S (car review)
There’s always a lot of hype and buzz in the air, online and offline when a Japanese manufacturer announces the upcoming release of an iconic car. The 2022 Subaru BRZ Coupe S which is what we tested here, is no exception to this hysteria.

2022 Kia Forte
The compact sedan market might be shrinking, with Chevrolet and Ford recently abandoning the class to focus on compact SUVs, but that just makes it easier to consider the segment's standouts. The 2022 Kia Forte ranks high on that list with its sharp style, impressive fuel economy and a string of standard features at a lower price than rivals.

2022 Honda Civic
The Honda Civic has a reputation built on 50 years of affordability, efficiency and durability, and the 2022 redesign looks to keep that tradition going strong. This 11th-generation Civic gets a thorough makeover inside and out. Some may say the new Civic's more conventional design is boring compared to the previous model's flamboyance, but we contend it's cleaner and more refined.

2022 Hyundai Elantra
The 2022 Hyundai Elantra is a small sedan that was just redesigned last year. The sleek and modern styling is a standout in the class, and even at its affordable price, it comes with an impressive list of standard features. A rather anemic base engine and an overabundance of hard plastic inside kept it from claiming the distinction as the Edmunds Top Rated small sedan, but it's still a competitive choice among rivals such as the Honda Civic, Kia Forte and Mazda 3.

2022 Subaru WRX
Subaru's redesigned 2022 WRX follows the successful original recipe of a sport compact sedan fitted with a punchy, turbocharged flat-four engine that powers all four wheels. The outgoing generation lasted longer than usual — from 2014 to 2021 — and was sorely in need of an update. This new WRX is wonderful news for its existing, and potentially new, fanbase. It faces off against primarily front-wheel-drive competition, including Hyundai's new Veloster N and the redesigned 2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI, but could be compared to the all-wheel-drive Golf R and turbocharged Mazda 3 as well.

2021 Honda Ridgeline
The Honda Ridgeline has been our top-ranked midsize pickup truck for a while now. No other truck in the class can match its smooth ride, innovative storage options, and quiet and comfortable interior. It also has enough towing, hauling and off-roading capability to handle the majority of work or recreational tasks you'll want to use it for. On tap for the 2021 Ridgeline are a few changes to enhance the truck's cosmetic appeal.

2021 Ford Mustang
For more than 55 years, the Mustang has built a reputation for stirring performance at prices that the average shopper could afford. Sure, there have been countless improvements along the way, but the tried-and-true formula of two doors, lots of power and rear-wheel drive remains. This doesn't include the curiously named Mustang Mach-E, which is a completely different all-electric, four-door quasi sedan/SUV.

2022 Dodge Challenger
Dodge's big muscle car is a hoot to drive, even if it doesn't feel quite as sharp as the Chevrolet Camaro or Ford Mustang. Of the three, the 2022 Challenger is the most old-school, which makes sense since the design dates to 2008, which itself recalls the Challengers from the early 1970s. This is a big, heavy coupe that feels big and heavy from behind the wheel.

2022 BMW 2 Series
With each generation, the BMW 3 Series sedan (and the related 4 Series coupe) has gotten bigger. The once entry-level Bimmer grew to the point that BMW had room to slot a new, more compact model beneath it. Enter the 2 Series, a rear-wheel-drive coupe about the size the 3 Series was 30 years ago. The 2 Series marked a return to form for the Bavarian automaker, offering exceptional performance in a just-right-sized package.

2022 BMW 4 Series Coupe
If you like the way the 2022 BMW 4 Series coupe and convertible look, chances are you're going to like most everything else about these athletic four-passenger cars. Based on the BMW 3 Series sedan, the 2022 4 Series is broadly appealing aside from its love-it-or-leave-it grille design. Choosing a darker color helps to minimize the bold nose's visual impact, but if BMW wanted to gift Audi and Mercedes-Benz with new customers, it could not have chosen a better method.

2022 Lexus RC 350
If you want a car with curb presence, the 2022 Lexus RC 350 has it. Like a home that draws you in with shaded porticos and intricate flagstone, this Lexus sport coupe cuts a sharp figure with its creased metal, steeply raked windshield and sloping roofline. The RC isn't quite as sporty as it looks, however. Its 311-horsepower V6 engine hauls the car up to speed just fine, but in the curves and corners, the portly RC 350 proves less nimble than its main rivals. The F Sport trim's adaptive suspension and optional grippy summer tires dial up handling performance, but ultimately the RC 350 is more about cruising and comfort than speed or dynamic movements.

2022 Subaru BRZ
Just about every Subaru these days is an all-wheel-drive SUV, but not the Subaru BRZ. This is the company's low-slung, rear-wheel-drive sport coupe co-developed with Toyota, and now it has a fresh lease on life for 2022 thanks to a full redesign.
