As a child, we often camped in the Northeastern part of Georgia. Nestled there in the mountains was a small town with architecture inspired by Bavaria, Germany. I was intrigued by the lake for swimming and boating. One of my favorite waterfalls, Anna Ruby Falls, is a short drive and hike up the road from Helen.
Cat TurnerPublished 2 years ago in WanderThe Best Gift I’ve Ever Received on a Holiday
Let’s face it, we’ve all been recipients of both good and bad holiday gifts. While now, being an adult has made me less interested in materialistic objects, there was a time when it was impossible to keep still after receiving a holiday gift. I can’t say I have a favourite one, but there is this recent experience that now stands out whenever I think about holidays. As the holiday season is just around the corner and in the name of sharing, here is how the New Year’s Eve dinner cruises on Sydney Harbour turned out to be the best gift I have ever received during holidays.

I watched the movie Casablanca a few hundred times, which meant Morocco was on my bucket list of countries to travel to. I was chuffed when I finally got there. It’s a country of contradictions, for instance, you can sit in a café with free Wi-Fi and then a donkey will walk past on the street.

At the south end of Washington Avenue, Cedarburg's main street, I take a step backward in time. Cedarburg is an old woolen mill town. Late 1800s stone buildings now serve as restaurants, lodging, wineries, boutique outlets, and gift shops.
Jim DeLilloPublished 2 years ago in WanderWhat You Need To Know About Costa Rica That Nobody Tells You
I have lived in Playa del Coco for four weeks and Playa Flamingo for five weeks now. I also stayed in Tamarindo and San Jose. I have met a ton of people from Potrero as I live near the border of Coco and Potrero and have frequented businesses in Potrero. This is my overall observations of Playa del Coco. I have decided to include this post because I seem to meet a lot of people who are debating between Coco, Potrero, Flamingo, and Tamarindo. I thought I would keep this simple and make a list.

Sweet girl The first time I saw you was in the Botanical Jardin Monaco on the Mediterranean coast your perky multicolored blossoms still trigger deja vu visions of a tropical garden in a park

Travel nursing offers you many perks, but I think the top one is freedom of choice. You can work at various locations, explore new cities, make new friends, and enjoy downtime between contracts. Yep, no rule says you need to jump right into the next contract. In fact, taking a break between gigs may be just what the, uhm, the doctor ordered.
