Huron Mountains Adventure, Michigan's Upper Peninsula
I explored the Huron Mountains of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in late September a couple years ago. I drove my Jeep Wrangler in a 200-mile loop that started and ended in Marquette Michigan while stopping to do several day hikes. The northern section of this route from Eagle Mine to Lake Roland below Mount Arvon is forest service roads/trails. I wouldn't recommend trying it without a high clearance 4-wheel drive and a good GPS.

Travel on a Budget!
So long story short... It all started when my good friend got married and we had to travel to Colorado (from South Carolina). You see.. I've always been that small town girl living in the small town of Piedmont where everyone knows everyone. I've been out of state, sure, but mainly when I was younger and couldn't really APPRECIATE everything. Even then, the farthest I had been was an 8 hour drive to Florida. I've seen pictures and always appreciated nature but experiencing what else is out there to offer is amazing!

Solo Tripping to Disney World
In the summer of 2017, I did something completely unheard of for me... I took a solo trip to Walt Disney World. You see... I love just about everything Disney and have since I was the age of 3 (I wore out my Betamax copy of Mary Poppins after watching pretty much daily). And as many Disney World travelers will share, it's a great experience to share with friends, family, loved ones... Everyone really. And at the time I decided to start saving for this trip five years earlier, it was to share with a special person, my boyfriend. It was meant to be a surprise, 5-year anniversary trip and proposal all in one. I had everything planned down to the moment I'd propose. We'd go have a wonderful time at the parks, and him being a huge fan of horror and haunts and scare zones and I would propose in front of the Haunted Mansion, symbolizing the two of us: Me being Disney and him being the Horror man.

6 Things to Do When You Lose Your Passport In a Foreign Country
I fell for it. The whole struggling mom needs a hand at an airport in Cusco ruse. The ones your grandparents hear about on dateline & while they are telling you over Thanksgiving dinner you’re silently thinking “I’m not stupid enough to fall for that.

Everything you need to know about traveling to Asian countries

Because of differences in their culture, language, and lifestyle, people in Asia are slightly different from other people of the world, and government laws can also be exaggerated. Of course, watching the beauty of this spectacular continent can be an amazing experience for everyone. In this article, I would like to remind you that it can be interesting and fun but really, that you should think about them well before traveling to Asian countries.

Almost every year I spend the new year watching the ball drop in New York on TV from my living room. Usually alone I might add. This year, however, was going to be different.
