I hope this blog finds you well. Before starting with the content a token of apology from my side I was not available to give you any content in writing for many months.

I will tell you the exact 7 reasons why you should visit India if you have not until now. India is not only a country but also an eye-catching nation for the whole globe as of now and will gradually increase with time.

TAJ MAHAL

We all know that one of the seven wonders of the world we can proudly say the Taj Mahal is in India. It is situated in Agra which is 206 kilometers south of the national capital New Delhi. The Taj Mahal is a symbol of love that has a story behind its existence. It was made in memory of Mumtaz wife of Shah Jahan. City Agra where millions of visitors visit every year to see this beautiful mahal and proudly we can say many of the memories including honeymoon and marriage proposals are witnessed by this amazing mahal. Govt of India made it compulsory to protect it at any cost. The number of visitors is increasing day by day and the Taj Mahal should be one of the reasons to visit India.

FOOD

Indian food is one of the best foods on earth. India is very famous for its cuisine starting with the taste and spices which make it mouth-watering. India is a diversified land with different types of Indian food. Starting from north to south we have Idli, dosa, poha, butter chicken, naan, litti choka, dosa, butter chicken​ tandoori, tikka, Thali, Shahi Paneer, Uttapam, Chole kulcha butter chicken, Biryani and the list goes on and on. People from different parts of the world visit India to taste these types of cuisine. What attracts more people is the spices and the variety of ingredients we have here. So food should be a reason to visit India as well.

FESTIVALS

India has a lot of festivals celebrated by Indians and all Indians living across the world. We have Holi, Dussehra, Ganesh chaturthi,Diwali,Krishna Janmashtami, Eid-ulFitr, Christmas, Gujarat Kite Festival, Pushkar Camel Fair etc. These festivals not only make the whole Indians proud but also come with different beliefs about equality and how we together make one India. The calendar of India is filled with these festivals which include celebrations some with religious beliefs some for a cause and some to respect our ancestors and pay tribute to the Indian God.

YOGA

Yoga has a very complex history. It revolves around physical mental and spiritual practices which originated its roots in the last 5000 years. India is the epicentre of yoga. India has made a lot of yoga gurus who not only aim to give Indians a healthy lifestyle but also spread awareness of yoga in different countries. India also celebrates the International Day of Yoga across the world annually on June 21st. Yoga has a deep connection with Hinduism which gives an individual a better lifestyle a healthy body and a peaceful mind.

AYURVEDA

Ayurveda is an alternative medicine that has its historical roots in India. Ayurveda has discovered a lot of cures for different types of diseases and has enormous potential. From the point where modern-day medicine gives up, Ayurveda takes it up from there. Some of the examples of the treatments that are offered are they reduce stress and anxiety, boost the immune system, promote digestion, improve skin health, enhance brain function, support heart health, and improve sleep quality. The main reason not only modern-day science but also universities and health researchers are surprised by ayurvedic medicine is the side effects which are near zero.

When it comes to being nice and treating our guests Indians are the first choice. Indians have pure hearts when it comes to being hospitable, especially in the villages. People living in India go by the saying "Atithi devo bhava" which means the guest is God. Indians don't have a culture of kissing on the cheek or shaking hands when meeting people. Indian people greet each other and all strangers with folded hands and say Namaste which came into great limelight when the outburst of Covid 19. Countries are adopting the culture of saying Namaste from India. Even if you are a stranger to anyone if you go to anyone's house Indians will welcome you with warm-heartedness which is very rare to see anywhere else.

CULTURE

India is very famous for its culture where the whole world summarizes its culture into one or two religions. Indians have a very wide range of secularism which includes the most practised religions which are Hinduism (79.8%), Islam (14.2%) and Christianity (2.3%) Sikhs(1.72%), Jainism, Buddhism etc. India not only gives individuals fundamental rights to practise their religion but also allows them to be an equal part of India when compared to any other religion. India never tries to suppress any religion and all religions are given equal rights according to the Indian constitution.

These are 7 reasons why you should visit India on your next holiday. Although there are many other reasons to visit India.
