Dining experience is not something that is limited to food alone, there is much more that makes it complete. Sweeping vistas of the place does a lot to enhance the flavours of the food at every bite. And the restaurants in Sydney can always boast about being surrounded by the scenic beauty of the waters.

Are you looking for some of the best dinner spots in the city to savour the flavours of food amidst the natural beauty of the surroundings? Here are some of my suggestions as a food blogger/ aesthete.

Sydney Showboats

If you love dining on the waterfront with a stunning view, a Sydney harbour night cruise is one of the first experiences you shouldn't miss out on. Sydney Showboats is one of the best you can get in the city to enjoy some sumptuous fresh dinner and a mesmerising cabaret show. Imagine sipping your favourite beverage as you gaze at the beauty of the well-lit harbour from this spectacular boat with dinner in Sydney . It's time you realised that dream!

The Butler

Thinking of dining on an eclectic oasis at the backstreet of Potts Point? Look no further than The Butler. The exotic decor and twist with the traditional colonial architecture, and the panoramic views of the city skyline are some of the highlights that makes this restaurant a must-visit. This is a great choice for those who want to try Mexican cuisine in Sydney amidst the greenery.

Bennelong

Do you want to satisfy your food cravings at a restaurant tucked under the sails of the Opera House? Make your way to Bennelong- an iconic restaurant where you can savour the flavours of the cuisines of Chef Peter Gilmore prepared with Australian ingredients. Views are best after the sunset, that too with lights on. And what makes it more interesting are the staff who go out of their way to make your experience complete!

Aria

For a seasonal dinner with impressive views, a dining experience at Aria is the best you can ask for. Nestled between the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, you can treat yourselves to the sweeping views of these iconic landmarks. Their classic and spacious interiors with white tablecloths, plush chairs, and subtle lighting give a luxurious feel to the dining spaces. Grab a seat near the floor-to-ceiling windows to enjoy a good view as you savour the flavours of your dinner. And my personal favourites include Murray Cod, Marron and Fraser Isle Spanner.

Cafe Sydney

How about a dinner at a restaurant where you can capture the essence of Sydney combined with the spectacular harbour views? Cafe Sydney, with a relaxed contemporary interior, outdoor terrace and cocktail lounge is one of the best in the city to relish some delicious food. Be it for a romantic evening, or a business dinner, this is one of the best in the city anyone who loves aesthetic restaurants would prefer to dine at. Fish and Oysters are a must-try here.

Nobu Sydney

How does this sound? Dining out on a modern fusion destination combined with traditional Japanese elements. That too with locally inspired produce and seafood. If that sounds like heaven then Nobu Sydney is a must-do experience. Here, you can enjoy imaginative dishes as well as classics handpicked from across the globe. If I were asked to recommend some of their best dishes, it would be Mochi Ice Cream, Lobster Salad, and Yellowtail with Jalapeño.

So, hereafter there wouldn't be a dearth of places in your list of must-visit restaurants in Sydney the next time you crave to dine in a picturesque restaurant. Which of the above restaurants do you find the most appealing?
