The Almighty Hand
Blinded by the flashing and ever circling lights, I paused for a moment just before the ante to take a second look at my cards. Unfortunately sunglasses don’t always hide the twitch in the right eye of the enormous man sitting beside me. I threw in my ante.

Contrary to popular belief, no you do not have to have kids to complete your life. I never gave much thought to having kids when I was growing up. I hated those stupid dolls that you could take care of as if it was your own baby. Who thought that was a good idea? Toymakers were already trying to shove that "have babies" mindset into little kid's faces, huh?

Sitting in the flowerbed, in her mud stained ballgown, looking back to the castle & hearing her mother call her name, Elizabeth knew she couldn’t go back. This was time to leave, for real this time. Tired of being bound by restrictions and control Elizabeth knew escaping from her current life, required faith, strength & courage. Elizabeth started running her hands through her tightly held ringlets and putting her hair up in a tie, meant she could run without her hair in her face. Tears falling from her face, she reached into her corset dress to pull out her little black book, she read over her pages again, nodding in agreement, as if the pages were giving her the pep talk she needed, the comfort, the strength & reassurance that she needed to flee. This book had been Elizabeth's most prized possession, this was her like bible, her manifestation book of secrets and plans. The book no one knew of, her only sense of freedom she has had, kept hidden for years under the floorboards in the castle. Her executed plan for freedom was finally in action. Putting the book back into her corset, like a crystal to a bra, she wiped away her tears and let out a huge sigh, as if breathing out all of her burdens and worries. Elizabeth looked around for her little Tigers Eye crystal she left in the mud, then started digging into the mud until silver started appearing through the earth, she pulled out scissors & smiled. Taking her scissors she cut the bottom of her dress, so that she could run easy without the ballgown being a trip hazard. She learnt this on her practise escape run, long dresses and running don’t go hand in hand. It was the reason for her capture, so she knew this had to be executed differently. With her ballgown cut to knee length, Elizabeth buried her scissors back to her usual spot, in case she needed them again one day. Elizabeth liked to think she was strategic, staying steps ahead meant she was smarter than her mother and one step closer to a life she desired.
The Odetta-Maris
I have sailed in treacherous, uncharted waters, fought off scavengers, managed to win a great number of battles against pirates, so it's not hard to assume that I live for the adventures. It's all in a day's work as one of the very few - if only - female pirate captains.

Jennifer Miles accepted a plea bargain of assault and battery rather than attempted murder. The incident wasn’t premeditated so the district attorney agreed the fourteen-year-old could serve her sentence as a juvenile. After four years, she was released to a halfway house. No one was there to greet her—not even her mother. Normally shy, the girl had gone into a rage when her mother’s latest boyfriend was beating her. She grabbed a skillet and hit the brute in the back of the head. If the pan had been cast iron instead of aluminum, it probably would have killed him. Still, she had hit him with enough force to knock him out long enough for her and her mother to get out. Her mother, more worried about her boyfriend than her daughter, called 911. Jennifer was still sitting on the front step when the cops arrived.

I was taking a while to make my post for today because I had many thoughts running through my mind but was having a hard time keeping organized. I apologize ahead of time to my "male" readers for what I am about to write about, however, I do believe that this is not only a very natural thing and shouldn't be considered gross or weird in any way it's also something pretty cool to read about and know.

Dee Richards has never been anything special. She had normal, middle-class parents, grew up with 2 siblings who were all good at everything she wasn’t(which was basically everything), and she kept up average grades at school and never had more than a few friends. Even her job was as boring as it can get: call center employee for a not-so-fast internet service provider.

Don’t look at me! The room was small… too small for Libby Lewis. Her face grew hot and her chest tightened. People she knew sat beside her on the navy-blue lounges. They all babbled loudly then sat in silence when the man arrived and sat on the only accent chair in the room. Libby tightly closed her mouth and breathed silently through her nose. She lowered her light brown eyes and allowed her long brown locks to partially cover her face. She did not want him to notice her.

Better Weak Than Tired
Strength can be found wrapped around your arms, holding your hands, in between your words, and living in your head. It can be the one thing holding back a breakdown. It can be everything to you.
Incarnantes of Aphrodite
As the balance of the inner Divine Masculine and Feminine stabilizes, there is a seemingly unusual breed of women coming to light. I say unusual, but I find her to be quiet usual, and fantastic. I have had the honor of meeting and loving a few of the Divine deLights via our many travels and open hearts and they continue to appear from the mists into our reality. Thank you Goddess for bringing me close to sisters who know and understand this flame that burns with in my depth!

I got my feelings hurt last night. This morning, I’m still butt-hurt over it and I’m trying to understand why. The guys were bullshitting in the garage, as is usual on a Friday night. I look forward to those conversations as much as they do. Cold drinks, good company, lots of good-natured trash-talk, lots of laughter, and lots of love.
