The bracket for the women's edition of the NCAA Tournament were released Sunday. Here is a look at some of our favorite match-ups.

Indiana brings its 22-8 record into the NCAA Tournament to face 22-9 Charlotte in the first round of the Bridgeport Region, March 19. The third seeded Hoosiers are led by six-foot senior guard Grace Berger who paces the team with 16.3 points and 4.9 assists per game. Her teammate Mackenzie Holmes a 6-3 junior forward leads the team with averages of seven rebounds, 1.7 blocks and shooting 59.8 percent from the field while averaging 15.5 points per game. Senior forward Aleksa Gulbe (ghool-bay) stands at 6-3 as well and is averaging 12 points while blocking 1.1 shots per game. She's a threat from long distance making 33 triples on a career best 35 percent shooting this season.

Charlotte is seeded 14 as its top player Octavia Jett-Wilson averages 19.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. The 5-8 senior guard is joined in the backcourt by her team's second leading scorer senior Mikayla Boykin who averages 13.3 points and 5.5 rebound per contest. Senior forward, KeKe McKinney, who transferred from Kentucky, will lead the Charlotte frontcourt in its tall task to hold off the talented Hoosier forwards. McKinney is a defensive force averaging 2.3 blocked shots per game along with 8.1 rebounds.

The winner of this contest will face the victor of fifth seed Kentucky and 11th seed Princeton.

An inner-state battle will take place in the Bridgeport Region of the NCAA Tournament as seventh seed UCF will take on 10th seed Florida, March 19.

UCF is 25-3 as point guard Diamond Battles is having the best season of her career. The 5-8 senior paces the team with averages of 13.8 points and 2.3 steals per game. She currently is second on the team at 3.4 assists per game. UCF has two forwards who bring productivity, starting with Masseny Kaba who leads the team with 1.3 blocked shots per game. She also averages 9.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.5 steals. Forward Brittany Smith is second on the team in scoring at 10.2 points and six rebounds per game. The 6-3 forward leads the team with 52.8 percent shooting.

UCF's opponent Florida brings a 21-10 record to the game. While UCF is riding on a 13-game win streak, Florida has struggled lately dropping four of its last five games. The Gators a still a formidable opponent led by senior Kiara Smith. The 5-10 guard is the team's best all-around player leading Florida in scoring at 14.6 points, assists with an average of 4.6, and steals at 2.4 swipes per game. She is a close second on the team in rebounding at 5.5 boards per game. Zippy Broughton, a 5-7 senior guard, averages 10.5 points, along with 1.4 steals per game. The team's top forward, Jordyn Merritt leads the Gators with 5.2 rebounds and is averaging 10.1 points. The 6-3 is Florida's best three-point shooter hitting 41.3 percent of her shots from long distance.

The winner of this game takes on the victor between number two UConn and 15 Mercer in the second round.

Fifth seed Notre Dame takes on 12th seed Massachusetts on March 19 in the Bridgeport Region.

At 22-8, Notre Dame brings in a very balanced attack on offense with four double digit scorers. Guard Olivia Miles is the team's top scorer and assist getter. She averages 13.7 points and 7.2 dimes per contest. Forward Maya Dodson is tops on the team with clip of 7.6 rebounds to go along with 12.4 points per game. She also paces the team with an average of 2.8 shot rejections. Guard Sonia Citron is another productive player with 11.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.

At 26-6 UMass has won 12 of its last 13 contests. The Minutewomen's top player is senior Sam Breen. The tough forward leads the team with 16.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Breen plays with a couple of productive guards as Destiney Philoxy leads the team with 5.7 assists per game while scoring 11 points per game. Sydney Taylor is the top scorer in the backcourt averaging 15.8 points while also grabbing 4.1 rebounds per contest.

The winner of this game takes on the winner of fourth seed Oklahoman and 13th seed IUPUI.
