Wrestlers - Before they were famous
2007 was an eventful year with WWE naming me as the possible head of the 'to be formed' WWE Europe. They decided not to make the extension in the end but a LOT of stuff happened that I've covered in my biography "Do or do not". Here's a segment featuring some names that are now household, and the video shows two of the best in action at a 1PW afternoon show at The King of Europe Cup.

I’ve been a diehard wrestling fan since 2001. I consider myself something of an expert and I love to chat with other fans and experts. A lot of people can’t understand why wrestling appeals to its fans. There are a lot of reasons. There’s the spectacle. There’s the ongoing history of professional wrestling that goes back to the days of circus wrestling. There’s the display of athletics. We all know it’s not “real” but it still requires incredible skill. And no real sport offers the opportunities to armchair quarterback, or “book the show” in wrestling terms.

As with any other form of entertainment, professional wrestling has garnered a wide spectrum of audiences ranging from casual fans to the die-hards. In 2020, as storylines, bookings, performances, predictions, and even backstage rumors are brought under scrutiny and critiqued, it is evident that the sports-entertainment known as pro wrestling is no longer confined to merely pleasing the superficial emotions of the fans and has rather evolved to an art form that is often a subject of critical analysis and intellectual opinions. This serves as a new kind of challenge for pro wrestlers to remain relevant to the wide spectrum of a fan base that pro wrestling entertainment appeals to.

The Australian boxing scene has been spoilt in recent history with the level of top-class fighters who have left their homeland and decided to ply their trade down under. In the past twenty years we have had two of the greatest fighters of their generation in undisputed world champions Kostya Tszyu (Russia- Junior Welterweight) and Vic Darchinyan (Armenia- Super Flyweight) adopt Australia and make their life here. A search through the record books shows a long and exhaustive list that also includes the class of world champions Johnny Famechon (France) and more recently Lovemore Ndou (South Africa) and Garry St. Clair (Guyana).

I have been watching wrestling for years and I find it very interesting. Sometimes it can get on my nerves and sometimes I really enjoy it. I have a WWE subscription and I watch all of the pay per views as well as Smackdown and Raw. There is a Hell in a Cell pay per view on Sunday October 25 and I can't wait to watch it. And the following matches are:

Sean PatrickPublished 3 years ago in UnbalancedOne year of Wednesday Night Dynamite
One year ago today in Washington D.C., I was there live to see the debut for AEW’s Wednesday Night Dynamite. I’ve been a pro wrestling fan for over 20 years, (25 to be exact) and I’m 32 years young to give you some perspective. Wrestling has influenced me in so many areas of my life, I owe so much to it. My mother loved wrestling as well, her favorite wrestler was the Undertaker. Those are some of my most cherished memories of my life watching a WWF PPV on a spring Sunday evening spending time with my mommy.

Having done the Martial Arts since I was 16 was the best decision with my life. I dread the idea of what I could have been if I didn't. But that's not what's important here.
Johann HollarPublished 4 years ago in UnbalancedDocumentary Review: 'Nail in the Coffin: The Fall and Rise of Vampiro'
If you were like me in the early 2000’s you probably wrote off the wrestler, Vampiro, as another failed experiment during the death throes of World Championship Wrestling’s final days. His was a face among many chucked into a stable of wrestlers, referred to as The New Blood, and because the group was about 30 wrestlers strong, not many stood out. Vampiro would have only one memorable moment during that time, a program with wrestling legend Sting that ended with a savage but ultimately failing match that took place in a graveyard.
