Russell Wilson On Fire

The Seahawks are this season's only team to beat the San Francisco 49ers (10-1). The Seahawks have the ability to win every close game because quarterback Russell Wilson is one of the NFL's toughest players and often at its finest when the fourth quarter is under pressure.

Russell Carrington Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He is shortlisted candidate for 2019 NFL MVP honors. But this Monday night he provided an assist on a touchdown that means that he'd surely like to have back.

Seattle (9-2) hosted Minnesota Vikings (8-3) at CenturyLink Field on Monday. It was scheduled to kick off at 5:15 p.m. Pacific. However, if the Seahawks had lost to the Vikings, they would fall from the top Wild Card spot to the No. 6 seed. Minnesota, currently in sixth place, held the tiebreaker in that scenario with an identical record. And that would also mean that Seattle would fall back on a full game in the NFC West behind San Francisco and keep the Rams hopeful of a shot at the Wild Card.

In the last five minutes of the first half in the Seahawks’ Week 13 game vs. Vikings, a game Seattle have to move in the NFC playoff field for a first-round bye, Russell Wilson on his own 22-yard line threw a pass. That pass was deflected at the line of scrimmage by Minnesota lineman Armon Watts. Wilson tried to bat the ball to the turf who had a gaudy eight-to-one touchdown-to-interception ratio (24 to 3, respectively), but unluckily sent the ball striking into the safety Anthony Harris hands who coasted in the end zone for a 20-yard pick six. As Anthony Harris returned a pass batted by Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, the Vikings scored one of the strangest pick-sixes of the NFL season which mark the Vikings with a 14-7 lead.

Baltimore’s Marcus Peters also took a Wilson pick to the house earlier in this season. Peters returned Russell Wilson's 67-yard pass to the house, putting Baltimore ahead of the NFC standings in the road contest against one of the teams. The interception was his season third. In the second quarter, the play gave Baltimore a 13-10 lead

During the 2019 season, NFL fans have just been treated to another classic prime time game. On "Monday Night Football," the Seahawks rallied to defeat the visiting Vikings, 37-30, with the strength of four consecutive second-half scores.
