Culture is a term that has no definite definition. Depending on the context in which it is spoken, culture has various meaning. Cultural Anthropology defines the term "culture" as a set of ideas, values, and beliefs shared by collectively by a community. However, many believe that the definition of culture has more to do with the differences in diverse groups of people. That idea, alone, proves that there are different ways in which to define the term culture.

Small Town Girl’s Travel Guide to NYC
I grew up in the middle of nowhere in South Dakota. You know the state that you had no idea people lived in? Where my graduating class was 13 people. Where you had to drive 60 miles if you wanted fast food. Yep. That was my life. Now, as a 24-year-old young professional in the real world, I have decided to pursue travel writing. I had my first trip to NYC, my first trip to the upper East Coast in general, and I can say I was more than nervous. The least of my worries was the harsh winter weather. As I flew into the airport, I thought about all the things I thought I knew about New York: Time Square, Lady Liberty, Central Park, the small spaces, the city that never sleeps, the depressed people. If you plan on camping for more than a night or two, these camping accessories will afford you more time to focus on enjoying nature instead of wrangling with erecting a tent for an hour or wishing and hoping your evening bonfire will ignite.

Growing Up in Vermont
Growing up in a small town in a small state is not as idyllic as everyone might have you believe. Yes, you know all of your neighbors, you can leave your door unlocked (hardly anyone ever really regrets it), and there aren't a lot of city blocks to navigate. On the other hand, your neighbors know your business whether you want them to or not, everyone knows that your door is unlocked, and you're likely to be stuck behind a tractor for a few miles because there isn't always a connecting street that will bypass it.
