Disclaimer Most fairytales you know begin once upon a time in a far away land, and they tell of the matchless beauty of fair princesses, of the daring deeds of heroic, handsome princes charming, of witches’ spells and ogres and trolls, and they always end with true love’s kiss.

Amber Midthunder steals the show as the fierce young Comanche warrior, Naru, who defends her tribe from the ferocious Predator. Has beautiful cinematography, tense, edge-of-seat action, unexpected jump scares and actual character development. Naru does not get an easy time, but never gives up. Relentlessly boundary-pushing in the best ways.

One of the definitions of a gypsy is a nomadic or free-spirited person. Nomadic just in case you didn’t know, means roaming about from place to place aimlessly, frequently, or without a fixed pattern of movement. I feel like this sums up most of my adult life. I grew up in Michigan. I lived there until I was twenty-four. In the last nineteen years, it has been a free for as far as where I have lived. This includes Tallahassee, Florida; Overland Park, Kansas; Concordia, Kansas; York, Pennsylvania (while working in Baltimore, Maryland); Patterson, California (while working in Fremont & Richmond, California); and Springfield, Pennsylvania. As you can see, there is not rhyme or reason to where I have lived. It has been a journey of where opportunities have presented themselves and having the ability to say yes.

It's a fan fix based on Edward Cullen, with more sex. Discussing the kind of sex you want is liberating; the sex scenes suck. How many words can you use for a penis? The answer is a lot. However, the overuse of masculine toxicity as a plot device is disheartening
A Critique of The Avengers
Marvel’s Avengers movies are absolutely stunning! While some scenes have predictable outcomes, the rest are unbelievably thrilling. The way they create the characters and their powers is fascinating; it captivates me the way they defeat evil and save the innocent.

I couldn’t tell you the first thing I wrote, because I was too young to remember, but one of the first projects I remember writing, was my own story called “Floated Away”. I think I was about seven or eight when I wrote this, back in the late 90’s or early 2000’s. I don’t know why I wrote it, but I do remember putting it all together.

My soul sister and I first met in 1988, and we’ve taken such journeys together. In my third year of university, I enrolled in American Literature 1850-1920. As a literature class of that caliber should, it covered authors such as Twain, Hawthorne, Melville, Faulkner, and Alger. One author I was unfamiliar with was Kate Chopin. We were assigned to read The Awakening.
