Infinite Echoes
On what could very well be one of Earth’s last Saturdays, Etta Elizabeth McCranie packed a picnic basket for two. It wasn’t much to be sure, just what she’d been savin’ up by way of canned goods. Whole tomatoes and stale saltine crackers. A block of Velveeta cheese, its ubiquitous orange color never seeming to go off no matter how many years passed them by. Her second-to-last pouch of shelf-stable milk. And her personal pride, a sleeve of lemon Biscotti cookies she’d sealed up in her mother’s vintage FoodSaver before it all went to shit back in ‘55.

Prologue Zurich, Switzerland Valentine Fuchs sat in his comfortable recliner, immerced in the spectacular view of Lake Zurichsee and the mountains beyond from his fifth-floor den while sipping an expensive cognac. He had just finished watching a 60 Minutes piece on the supply chain debacle happening in the U.S. He was very familiar with how difficult it had become to move products from location to location. Distribution was more complicated for his businesses because what they had to transport was all contraband. Drugs, knock-off designer items, and even oil from embargoed countries like Iran and Russia, needed to go from producer to end user.

He wrote a letter for the dogs king where he described the whole process and formulas and ingreadients needed to get that result. In the hope of making the letter reach the king, the wise dog trusted his disciple on delivering it to him, and they tried their best to make the messanger's identity a top secret. Regrattably the humans knew that dogs are planning to escape from thier hands, so they tried every way possible they could think of to arrest that rebellious dog and stop him from taking it to the king, they commited so many massacres just to achieve that purpose.
