Could There Be A New Frankenstein In Town?
#MaryShelley’s iconic monster could see itself adapted to film again, but this time the creature and his creator, #Frankenstein, will be transported to war-torn Iraq. Reuters Arabia last week announced that Iraqi writer, Ahmed Saadawi’s award-winning novel Frankenstein in Baghdad, will be adapted to film by a heretofore unnamed British production company.

'Agent Carter' Season 2 Overview
This post will contain SPOILERS for Agent Carter Season 2 that you may prefer to avoid. Last year I wrote an overview of Agent Carter Season 1 and the time has come again for me to look back upon the series. I've already said it, but just so you can't shout at me there is a good chance that spoilers will occur. So if you're in the UK and haven't seen it yet, you'd best click elsewhere for now (though come back once you've seen it all).

Middle-earth Is Coming to Amazon Studios
As television networks and streaming services scramble to fill the void that Game of Thrones’ end will inevitably create in 2019, Amazon has taken their first steps to do so—by bringing one of the original fantasy behemoths to the small screen, The Lord of the Rings. In the beginning of November, Amazon announced that they had acquired the television rights for the book series and have a multi-series commitment. While many fans may be worried that this is an effort to remake the well-loved The Lord of the Rings movies from director Peter Jackson, Amazon assures fans that the television series will focus on events that took place before Frodo ever stumbled upon Bilbo’s cursed ring. The deal reportedly is priced somewhere between $200 and $250 million.

Following its success, it wasn't long until Warner Brothers decided to give the film a sequel, which is set to be bigger and better. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is now out on DVD for fans to enjoy, but the questions is: Has the sequel even been written yet?

Still No Spider Man in the 'Civil War' Trailers! But That's OK!
Apparently, a rather large sporting event took place in America recently. It involved some sort of Superb Owl and a load of dudes in helmets. I am not a big fan of American "Football" (seriously, why is it even called football?) but I digress. During the (many) ad breaks that take place throughout the Super Bowl, there are often trailers for upcoming films or special adverts made specially for this ad break. Because of the HUGE audience, these are some of the most sought after (read: expensive) advertising slots in television, and as such people put a lot of effort into them.
