The opening image to this article should make it relatively obvious who inspired it. Rupi Kaur is an enigma to me. I believe she is many things: a feminist, an intelligent person, and a capitalist. I believe she has found that she has a talent with words, but uses it exclusively to make poetry that speaks to people on such a minimal level that it requires minimum effort with maximum profits.

I recently made the decision to invest in a professional website for my music business. As a singer songwriter and now performer, I needed a powerful means of distribution, enticing marketing, and a crisp display across desktop and mobile devices. Wix.com provided all of these things and more. Its drag and drop design was so intuitive that I was able to focus primarily on aesthetics as opposed to the technical logistics. There are other website design platforms that don't require coding such as Weebly, but Wix's music management is like no other. I get an eCommerce store built into my site, which is run through PayPal, so you get super smooth purchases and invoices for a reasonable fee of 3% plus $0.30 per transaction. By the way, I'm only paying $15/month for everything I’m about to talk about, and I still have all the rights to my songs.

Blessings and Lessons. I used to believe I was always right, in all I would do and say. That life was a blessing and a curse and to accept this was the only way...

I had a room full of candles. Kept me seeing. When I fell. All the candles blew out. I didn't mean to do it. It just. All crashed at once. I promise you I'm looking for the lighter to relight the candles. But I only have the one on the floor. It's sad that the wax from that one glued it to the floor. It'll only last so long. I didn't see that until it was the only one. I'm so sorry. I can still feel the presence of the other ones. I can almost feel the heat. But I'm scared of where to step. I don't know anymore. I can't see. I gave up on looking. As I sat in front of the last candle. Crying. Trying to cherish the moments of enlightenment. I slowly watch the flame die each minute. I don't know how long I have. Before I no longer see what I need to. I just sit. Crying. I've cried so much I let a tear fall on the flame. I forgot how close I was. Now. I just sit in silence. And I'm scared. I don't know how to get out. I'm just. I'm just gonna sit here. Maybe if I close my eyes. It'll go away.

The ABC television show Once Upon A Time, about fairytales characters trapped in the real world, puts a new spin on the beloved stories we all grew up with. The story of Snow White took a spin when the ironically dainty princess was seen wielding a bow an arrow and knocked her Prince Charming out cold with a stone. The show quickly became famous for its interesting plot twists and unexpected characters. For the past six seasons the show has continually surprised fans by taking them to new worlds and inventing new curses for the characters to overcome, all the while keeping the show's main focus on family and hope. Now after six seasons the show is undergoing a reboot. Many of the main actors chose not to renew their contracts, leaving less than a handful of the cast to return for the seventh season. With that in mind the entire show faced a makeover. The setting, time and even the beloved characters themselves were all done over leaving the fans to speculate and theorize what the seventh season would hold.
