Similar Adventure
I’ve walked an unfamiliar path, one you’ve probably walked before. This morning I woke to the sound of birds, the sound I’m sure you’ve heard outside your door. I’ve walked and I’ve seen what some have done and saw before, but that doesn’t stop my wandering eye from wanting someone’s similar adventure even more.

"Creature Feature or Horror flick?" These are the choices I'm given this week. I'm getting ramped up for Halloween. Even after a Mothman and a Vampire Hunter, I'm still in the mood for some supernatural monsters. I'll get to a real ghoulie ghost story one of these days, but it is not this day.

Some events in your life seem to seal your destiny for many years to come. One such event took place in my life during the 1980's when my father surprised my brother and myself by purchasing us the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). We had played it before at a relative's house, but that does not compare to owning one yourself and playing whenever you want to (or at least when Mom and Dad say it's ok). The fatherly gesture made that day would spark a love for gaming in me that, 30 years later, has yet to let go. Thinking about the time I've spent gaming over those years, I began wondering, what was the best time I had and with what console. For me, this was actually a tough choice between my number 1 and 2 spots, so, because the choice was so close, we'll begin with the runner-up.

Here it is. The obligatory chapter where I tell you all about experiences with ghosts. Experiences not out there in the wilderness of England and Scotland, but within the comfy confines of my own house.
