I want to start off with an apology. My first "Just the headlines" post, was done after midnight, and I had intended it to be for the days news, preceding the post. Alas, it did not come off that way, and the dates looked wonky. So, this post, hopefully, corrects that. My intention is to do a quick "review" of the news top headlines, and a brief synopsis, if I contribute anything of import at all. Thank you.

I'm hearing a great deal of talk about children's safety in society from a multitude of politicians across the United States. While this may sound like a perfectly appropriate and meaningful concern for any politician, I know that nothing these people do is done with sincerity. I know that these particular politicians don't actually mean what they say, even as they watch their own children find themselves in harm's way. This filth of political lip-service rises to my ears like an audible stench, and I am done listening to the cacophony of hollow care and concern for the innocent. This is vile, and I, Iuno, Regina Deorum, sentence the words of these politicians to death.
