In the late 1980's my grandmother introduced me to the "Rush Limbaugh Show." Almost every day, from 11 am to 2 pm Central Time, Gran tuned in to the daily commentary and political rhetoric of the one whose "talent was on loan from God." His verbose style attracted millions of listeners from both sides of the political aisle. In fact, at the height of his career, 27 million people tuned in to his show on a weekly basis. His brash Conservative minded soliloquies offended those on the Left and emboldened the voices of the Right. Love him or hate him, no one can deny that Rush Limbaugh revolutionized political talk radio.
When Rush cartooned his way to Family Guy Rush Limbaugh (1951-2021)
When Rush cartooned his way to Family Guy Rush Limbaugh (1951-2021) Brian, the over pretentious intellectual dog from the cartoon show Family Guy, was always portrayed as an ultra liberal being who in many occasions was caught by us, the fans, overreacting to random family comments or even simple domestic situations. But in one particular episode, the Rush -Rush Limbaugh- himself appears in the form of a cartoon character and even voicing his own self to unexpectedly convince Brian to turn from ultra liberal to conservative. The problem is -it always be, since the episode is there for us fans to watch it over and over again- that Brian doesn't know how to intellectually control himself. Such attitude and lack of control drives him to become an over comical alt-right bigot, to the point that he creates an image of Limbaugh that goes beyond the structure of the anchor, over idolizing him and, soon and sure enough, annoying the conservative talk-show star.

Some of the brightest people, including Dr. Yaron Brook, Dr. Walter E Williams, and Dr. Leonard Peikoff held views early in life that changed dramatically with age and experience. Dr. Thomas Sowell is no exception. For decades, he encouraged his students to think critically, and value free markets, and later, in retirement, he wrote prolifically in defense of the same, but he wasn’t always this way....

Nazis have been with us a long time. Though the patches they're wearing these days might be different, and they're often wearing snappy ball caps and sunglasses, they've still got the same flags and the same slogans. They might call themselves something different, but if you scratch beneath the new coat of paint they're the same old fascists they've always been.

(Previously published on Medium) Once again I recently read what has become for some, the solution for dealing with matters of racism and white supremacy in America. “Just stop talking about it”.
Martin Luther King Jr and his impact within Europe
With Martin Luther King Day approaching (18/01/2021,) it is essential to remember all the good he created and inspired in others during his life. He was a man of significant influence, having the profound ability to entice his listeners and make them aware of all the injustices their own country was serving them. Before King came along and took hold of the civil rights movement, the topic was not often thought of, let alone spoken. King opened black Americans' eyes to the fact that they should not endure inequality, but stand up to it and demand equal rights. He also opened the eyes of white Americans who needed to know that segregation was unnecessary and cruel, that being white does not mean they can stand back and watch.
