America's dying libraries, are now being used by the growing population of unhoused people. The term 'unhoused' is the new politically correct way to describe the the homeless citizens in the United States.
I am living in a virtually unstable world myself, so I decided to try to bring myself out of the deepest depression of my life. I started walking the several blocks to my local library, a place where I thought I could have total peace, free wifi and electricity to charge my devices when they needed to be charged.
However what I ended up doing was shooting dice, walking into a place in which day to day changes, depending on who is there.
On average the costs of a one bedroom for one month, cost more than I paid for a 13-month lease in Ghana. I paid $2,300 USD, which included the water and trash, yes for an entire year.
Many Americans are paying from $1,000 to $2,000 a month for a one bedroom apartment, some areas you can find a 2-bedroom. However in a lot of states and cities, you can only rent one single room for that amount.
In New York City, you can forget about it! The rent there is so high you can't even imagine how much some people are paying. I recently saw a video where New Yorker's were paying that much for these odd, tiny apartments. One would have to damn near step outside to stand up straight.
This is why so many influeners in Ghana are making money off of pushing the move to Ghana. However you must have some way to make a living there too! So what they're doing is pushing as if its the greatest place on earth to get views, shares and comments. Because this is what pays the most.
In a recent converstation with several people who once lived in Ghana, they discussed the money in pushing the country. Africans fall in love if you hype their countries, even thouse who don't even live in their own countries.
The financial struggle in western countries though, is pushing the costs of just about everything worldwide. It is almost impossible to find a place where people aren't fleeing to for the sake of saving their pockets.
Living in peace is my only wish these days, living where I can at least eat once a day is another. Life is bleek most days, but stepping into the local library to write in peace or print out a few things, one can't escape the ugliness of the world.
Americans Expect Home Prices to Rise, See Market as Poor
68% predict higher prices; 76% say it is a bad time to buy a house
WASHINGTON, D.C. - More Americans than a year ago expect home prices to rise in their local area. At the same time, Americans remain highly pessimistic about the market for homebuyers - 21% say it is a good time, and 76% say it is a bad time, to buy a house, essentially tying last year's measures as the worst in Gallup's trend.
Larger Majority Believe Local Home Values Will Increase
Sixty-eight percent of U.S. adults expect home prices in their local area to increase in the coming year, up from 56% a year ago and among the highest readings Gallup has measured to date. The only higher readings were 71% in 2021 and 70% in 2005 and 2022.
The United States of America is speeding towards becoming a failing state, there are many people that will probably laugh about this but if you really follow world news, people in America aren't making it. The fact that the US continues to feed wars & terrorism all around the world is the biggest factor thats steering this out of control car into a steal wall.
