BLIND & GOING CRAZY

Realizing most of our society is not operating out of a mindset of how we help each other; but how our individual agenda can reign supreme!!

In a 🏗 construction 🚧 zone

Monday August the 17th, 2020. Just a few weeks from now. Seventeen Days, four hundred and eight hours, OR twenty four thousand four hundred and eighty minuets, OR one million four hundred sixty eight thousand, eight hundred eighty second, just in case someone is counting UNTIL we as a nation will OFFICIALLY in a unusual way, begin the process of selecting the next president of these states United.

It’s unusual, because never before in this history of this our republic, has an election been forced to occur under extreme circumstances with life or death implications.

We are at war STILL in the Middle East, which because of its longevity, now pushing two decades, most have forgotten.

We are fighting a pandemic, which many have argued by Election Day will have claimed the lives of close to, if not, dare I say, over half a million.

We are in economic turmoil, with unemployment rate at 11.1 percent, which in transparent or horrific terms breaks down to some 21 million people STILL searching for work. This also presents an even more freighting revelation. More than 37 million people are struggling with hunger in these states United, with more than 11 million of those being children.

If it weren’t bad enough, we’re heading into an educational crisis. In many of our school districts, due to the health crisis, have made the excruciating decision to move fall classes to online, presenting the question of if many of our students, mostly African American, will have the proper access?

This is looking to at least to be two and three quarter consecutive semesters, our students will trail; but it beats the alternative of heading back into a diseased war zone.

SOMEBODY SHOUT WHAT DO YOU DO?

What do you do? When we live in a society, that rapidly grows in racial tension?

What do you do when we live in a society, that increasingly questions its identity, globally, nationally, communally, and more importantly personally.

What do you do when the first time in history of the modern civilized world our lives a humans sits on ballot?

Do you choose the right to work, have suitable education, Proper wages, accompanied by adequate health care; recognizing that you’re also choosing to redefine faith, and somewhat how we operate it.

WHAT DO YOU DO??

When a child in addition to struggling with their abcs, and the understanding of basic numerical sequences, has to also properly identify different sexual orientations, preferences, and yes even multiple genders.

WHAT DO YOU DO??

When more and more we struggle with the age old question, who truly created this world, and how?

WHAT DO YOU DO??

When it’s apparent we are increasingly becoming a generation who clearly has eyes but cannot see, and more over ears but cannot hear

“Listen, you foolish and senseless people, who have eyes but don’t see and ears but don’t hear.”

WHAT DO YOU DO?

When its easier to not seek the right course of action, to not find the silver-line, rather to agree to disagree.

We are now apart of a society, where there is seemingly no more right and wrong, but heavy opinions which are coined as alternative facts.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

When more and more people, our friends, coworkers, loved ones are dying.

In 2018, there were 16,214 reported cases of murder or non-negligent manslaughter in the United States. Non-negligent manslaughter means there was no evidence of premeditated thought, folks just got mad, lost control, and another life was lost.

The good news IS This figure has decreased since 1991, when there were 24,700 reported murder and non-negligent manslaughter cases; but in 2018, there were 48,344 recorded suicides, up from 42,773 in 2014, according to the CDC's National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). On average, adjusted for age, the annual U.S. suicide rate increased 24% between 1999 and 2014, from 10.5 to 13.0 suicides per 100,000 people, the highest rate recorded in 28 years.

Thats 64,558 or twenty percent of the population of these states united.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

When all the human mind, and its spirit desires more than life its self is identity. WHO AM I? WHY WAS I BORN? And WHAT AM I HEAR TO DO?
