A Democratic False Flag Operation at the Capitol - I Don’t Think So

Facts and A Little Common Sense Disproves

So there’s a bizarre school of thought out there that says the insurrection at Capitol was a false flag operation. One which the Democrats were behind and meant to make Donald Trump look bad. Well, it isn’t that outlandish because I’ve considered the possibility myself. But just a little bit of common sense and a review of the basic facts renders the assertion highly unlikely.

Now, since I have a rather conspiratorial mind, I did consider the possibility that Antifa and other left wing agitators stood in for the Proud Boys and such. Believe it or not, my basis is pretty sound.

AP finds most arrested in protests aren’t leftist radicals, states the title of my source. Right wing among those arrested, a definitive case in not made that the right was there to make the left look responsible. But enough for me to consider the opposite could be true at the Capitol.

Unfortunately, for the false flag people, the possibility makes no sense in regards to how the protest/riot unfolded. So let’s discuss what the operation would have to do in order to be successful.

The first order of the day is to get into the Capitol and cause a ruckus. Mission obviously accomplished, but there’s something absolutely crucial to making your mission a success.

You can’t get caught. Otherwise, the authorities will easily be able to identify your political leanings, and all your left wing false flag dreams will go up in smoke.

Thus, obstructing your facial features would be your first line of defense. Why then are there so many rioters entering the Capitol without face coverings and filming their exploits for social media. I guess the hundreds who have been arrested could be so deep uncover in Antifa that even the FBI can’t figure out who they are. How likely does that sound?

Still, there could have been Antifa egging on the crowd to elevate the protest into insurrection, but didn’t the crowd already have a much louder megaphone doing just that. His name is Donald Trump, and he goes out to the world whenever he wants.

You also have to weigh the actual upside in comparison to the consequences for a false flag operator. Yes, you get to make Donald Trump look bad, but there’s a 20 year prison sentence on the other end.

Now, if the incursion was going to usher in the glorious revolution, I get it. But Donald Trump really doesn’t need much help to look bad.

The bigger picture then moves onto Nancy Pelosi, and the belief in a stand down order. Once again, I considered this possibility at the outset and reasoned that if Trump could incite an insurrection, another politician could also engage for political gain.

The facts and common sense don’t sync up here either. First of all, the Capitol Police do not answer to the Speaker of the House. Instead, the authority flows from a series of sources. “No one person oversees USCP -- the oversight apparatus includes representation from the Architect of the Capitol, the House and Senate Sergeants at Arms, as well as committees from both Houses of Congress,” Bee Barnett, director of communications and programs for the U.S. Capitol Historical Society, stated said in an email to AP

Of course, Nancy could have wielded extra authority from her perch and maybe she was able to exert the necessary influence over her cohort in the Senate. After all, Mitch McConnell has been wavering lately over Donald Trump, and the two could have colluded.

I guess the riot was on.

So the wheels set in motion, you’re telling me that the two towering congressional giants invited a violent mob into their house, and the strange bedfellows forgot that they would be two of three primary targets.

That doesn’t sound very likely to me. But it was a nice try. So what else do you got.
