An Outside Perspective (BTC)
Bitcoin: A History Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and/or a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange and rather than relying on central authorities; it uses peer-to-peer cryptography to control its creation and management (Bitcoin Project, 2021). It was invented by, presumed, pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto, who put in many existing ideas from the cypherpunk community (O’Hagan, 2016). The structure of bitcoin is a blockchain technology that it uses to record transactions on its network (Conway, 2020). A blockchain is pretty much, just a publicly spread ledger. It records every bitcoin transaction made on one of those blocks. When that block's memory is full, it is added to the chain of blocks. This ledger is freely available on any computer in the bitcoin network and validates bitcoin transactions, stores the blockchain, and relays transactions to other network computers. The correct term for these PCs is nodes.

Nigeria recently bans cryptocurrency transactions. I know because I am from Nigeria. I am not sure of any other countries that ban it or not, simply because am not interested in bitcoin. One reason why it was banned in Nigeria is because of its volatility and the secrecy of coin-based and other crypto-based ledgers. All I will say is that cryptocurrency investors have hearts of gold. I am not that risk-averse.

Dorian's Story
One early summer morning (2007) in sunny California, a 32-year-old man could be found sitting in front of his computer profusely sweating as he had not moved since 8:00 pm the previous night. When you are in a bind financially and have a family to support, sleeping is not an option. His parents always worked so hard and never let him forget that. They moved to America before he was born and provided everything he ever needed, but it was not without consequence. Because his parents were so successful, they expected nothing less from their only son. Dorian had above average intelligence, but he also had what the doctor’s call ADHD. The “H” stood for hypo rather than hyper. With this, Dorian felt there was a shadow that hovered over him throughout his life and it followed him well into adulthood. He had the intelligence but there was no motivation to drive him to the success his parents expected of him.

Patience was Riley Gibbon’s strongest virtue; some would say his only one. Twelve years working as a maintenance worker in a data centre in rural Australia eliminated any career ambitions. Satoshi Nakamoto is the creator of the world’s most popular cryptocurrency “Bitcoin” but no one has ever seen this person in real life because he is the leader of the anarchy group called “The Anonymous.” Only Nakamoto’s notes can be found and nothing of where is or who he actually is can be found. No one can find the creator of “Bitcoin” because he has literally mastered staying off the grid he’s the only person in the world living by his own rules because of that fact.
