This is a simple pair of black high heels. They're from Le Chateau. The inside is really faded, but that's where they're from. I thrifted them for $6. Aside from the logo being worn away, they are in great shape. The inside lining is unbroken, and the tread is strong.

Due to some unfortunate unforeseen circumstances, I was travelling without my suitcase. It was rough. Like really rough. I was not the only person without formal wear, and we all needed formal wear. I made arrangements for the other members of my family, but I needed a skirt or a dress and a pair of shoes.

I had to use the flash so you could see the dark red velvet bows. This is another pair of fashion show shoes. They remind me of Minnie Mouse, so I'm going to call the girl from the show Minnie, even though that isn't her name. I don't have permission to write about her, so we'll just keep it casual.

My purse broke. I had this cute little champagne crystal clutch. It was the perfect thing to wear to the opera... If you ever took me to the opera. Except, I actually do go to the opera. I go because it's the one place left where you can dress like it's a red carpet night without anyone looking at you funny. I also like listening to one person singing like they're screaming about how life is torment, and they can't have the one person that they love, and it's an opera singer, so she's not always skinny. There's just something magical about that.

These shoes are NUDE! How did I end up with them? Well, it's a crazy story. I got a $100 gift certificate to ALDO. There isn't one close to me, so I had to drive for over an hour to get there. I chose an ALDO gift card because I love shoes. I have a whole wall of shoes, and quite a few of my favorites are from ALDO. So, I drove.
