These shoes are advertised to me online every single time I do anything - EVER! It's really funny because I thrifted them in person. Not online. They were $8. They'd clearly never been worn, and I knew what was wrong with them before I pulled them off the shelf. The size is marked wrong. They say they're size seven. They are liars! They are 7.5s. If someone bought them thinking they were getting size sevens, and they didn't know about the sock trick, they would slide all over the place. It is of paramount importance that these girls do not slide because they are really high. These are some of my tallest shoes. Do not be deceived by their browness or the fact that they don't look like something you would wear clubbing. These are TALL shoes. The platform on the front means business.

This is a simple pair of black high heels. They're from Le Chateau. The inside is really faded, but that's where they're from. I thrifted them for $6. Aside from the logo being worn away, they are in great shape. The inside lining is unbroken, and the tread is strong.

Due to some unfortunate unforeseen circumstances, I was travelling without my suitcase. It was rough. Like really rough. I was not the only person without formal wear, and we all needed formal wear. I made arrangements for the other members of my family, but I needed a skirt or a dress and a pair of shoes.

My purse broke. I had this cute little champagne crystal clutch. It was the perfect thing to wear to the opera... If you ever took me to the opera. Except, I actually do go to the opera. I go because it's the one place left where you can dress like it's a red carpet night without anyone looking at you funny. I also like listening to one person singing like they're screaming about how life is torment, and they can't have the one person that they love, and it's an opera singer, so she's not always skinny. There's just something magical about that.

These shoes are NUDE! How did I end up with them? Well, it's a crazy story. I got a $100 gift certificate to ALDO. There isn't one close to me, so I had to drive for over an hour to get there. I chose an ALDO gift card because I love shoes. I have a whole wall of shoes, and quite a few of my favorites are from ALDO. So, I drove.

Retro Geometrics: Bringing Soft 70s Pastels into Modern UK Interiors
The Resurgence of Seventies Aesthetics For decades, the design trends of the 1970s were often dismissed as overly loud, dominated by heavy brown hues, orange shag carpets, and chaotic prints. However, the design world is currently experiencing a massive revival of this era, albeit through a highly refined and modernised lens. Today, interior designers are stripping away the overwhelming clutter and heavy palettes of the past, choosing instead to focus on the era's most iconic and enduring contribution: geometric forms. By pairing these playful, structured shapes with lighter, airier palettes, decorators are successfully bringing vintage interior design into the twenty-first century.

What Makes Pakistani Kurti Set Unique in Ethnic Wear
Festive fashion has quietly shifted over the last few years. Women are leaning toward outfits that feel lighter, softer, and easier to spend an entire day in. Heavy occasion wear still has its place, of course, but there’s a visible move toward silhouettes that look graceful without feeling restrictive. That’s one reason the pakistani kurti set has become such a strong presence in modern ethnic wardrobes.

How Comfortable Festive Dressing Changed Ethnic Fashion Trends
Festive fashion has changed quite a bit over the last few years. Earlier, occasion wear was mostly about heavy embroidery, fitted silhouettes, and outfits that looked grand but were not always easy to wear for long hours. Now, things feel different. More women are leaning toward comfortable festive dressing that feels lighter, softer, and easier to move in without losing that festive charm.
