Venerable Thich Minh Tue's real name is Le Anh Tu, born in 1981 in Ky Van commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh. He was born as the second child in a family of 4 children. In 1994, he moved to live in: La To commune, La Grai district, Gia Lai province.

In Gia Lai, when he finished high school, he went to military service. When he was discharged from the army, he went to study at Central Highlands Forestry Intermediate School.

In 2015, he decided to become a monk. After that, he left the temple and went to the mountain to live alone in a rock hole. Every day he often went to beg for alms. Since then, Master Thich Minh Tue has walked three times in the form of practicing the practice method of "behavioral conduct" but did not attract the interest or attention of many people. By this fourth time, Mr. Minh Tue's journey had attracted a lot of attention from a large number of people following him. He quickly became an internet phenomenon. He said that he is not a Buddhist monk, does not practice and is not an employee of any temple or any monastic establishment of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha. Currently, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha also said that

Mr. Thich Minh Tue is not a monk of this church.

What did he do that made him so revered?

Thich Minh Tue has been practicing asceticism for 6 years and has walked from the South to the North and back 4 times. But this 4th trip caused a lot of noise.

This time, he himself said that he did not attract people's attention. When someone wanted to follow him back to Ha Giang, he replied, "If you feel peaceful and happy, just go. I don't invite or chase anyone away."

Some people have taken advantage of his image to arouse people's curiosity on social networking sites, especially today's youth.

Master Thich Minh Tue once said that he is just trying to study and learn, trying to live according to Buddha's teachings, he does not accept to work or teach anyone.

Through some clips, we see many Buddhists following and respectfully paying respect to everyone, from the elderly to the young, including young men and women. There are even clips showing that people with tattoos also know how to clasp their hands and chant "Amitabha Buddha". The image of a policeman greeting and clasping his hands, a female soldier coming to offer water, and many other beautiful images showing the sowing of seeds of compassion, is truly precious and miraculous!

However, some Buddhists showed excessive respect and offerings, jostled, pushed, and competed to stand close to the Master to take photos and film, creating an unpleasant feeling. Not to mention that many people followed too many people, encroaching on the road, causing unnecessary traffic obstruction.

Master Thich Minh Tue is becoming a "strange phenomenon" online, an example that many people admire. However, YouTubers and TikTokers over-praise and even differentiate between Thay and other monks, unintentionally making Thay jealous, jealous, and possibly in danger. Should we protect this "phenomenon" by bothering less, praising it, and comparing it less? It's best for us to quietly learn good things from the Teacher according to our own feelings. Through this, the writer would like to wish you peace, overcome all obstacles, and quickly attain enlightenment. Hopefully, the seeds of compassion will forever be sown in all directions.
