Being Unapologetically Comfortable in My Own Skin
For years, I struggled with body image issues and felt insecure about myself. Now, I'm slowly having the confidence to show off my body and not comparing myself to others, appearance wise. The one article of clothing that I love the most and proud to show off is not a baseball jersey While I love wearing them, I'm talking about a pair of underwear. Today, August 5, is an important day for those who love sporting them. Annually on this date, it celebrates confidence and comfort. National Underwear Day was created in 2003 by the retailer Freshpair. There are brands for both men and women that are available, such as Hanes, Pair of Thieves, Victoria's Secret, and Jockey. Plus, there are discounts on your favorite brands, which saves you a bit of money. I have a plethora of pairs of underwear from different brands with the likes of Pair of Thieves, Nads, Jockmail, and Levi's. I started posting underwear pics on social media several years ago. My weight has gone up and down over the years and there was a time that I stopped doing it for a while. Now, I chose not to care what others think about my size. I'm getting a little bit better of taking my health more seriously. It's not to say that I've been neglecting it. I'm nearing 40 and making sure that I'm active multiple times a week. I returned to the gym recently for the first time in several months, due to me having a hectic work schedule and feeling tired almost every day.

Wesley: The Kid from Arlington
This past Saturday, I received something that I've been wanting for months. That was the newest Texas Rangers City Connect jersey (shown above). I'll discuss more about it in a moment. Back in late April, the team debuted their new uniforms, which celebrated Mexican culture, in time for their three-game series matchup against the Athletics. When images of the new uniforms were made public on social media, the reactions were mixed. Most of the reactions were negative, with one saying that they didn't say Arlington across the jersey. I agreed with the commenter's assessment. Better yet, it should've said something like American Dream City or Dream City across the jersey and patterns that resembled something inspired by Six Flags Over Texas, which is located not too far from Globe Life Field and a bit closer from their old ballpark, The Ballpark in Arlington (now Choctaw Stadium).

2026 MLB Stars and Stripes Hat (Full Review)
America's 250th birthday is fast approaching and celebrations surrounding it either have already taken place or planned to take place at some point. Recently, New Era released the MLB Stars and Stripes Collection. I bought my hat from Fanatics and recently posted a review video on YouTube, as you can see here. This was my first Stars and Stripes hat I've owned and it's the ninth Rangers hat overall. Yes, you've heard that right. I'm on the pursuit of hat number 10. Not only the hats were released, but America flag-inspired jerseys. All players and teams will wear both items during their games on July 4th. Unfortunately, it's more than unlikely that I'll purchase a Rangers jersey in time for the holiday. If I do decide to buy one, even after Independence Day has passed, I'll do a review on it in a future story. I have plenty of jerseys to choose from to wear with my new hat on July 4th. Ok, let's get to my reaction to the hat.
