Style Inspo For Short-Bob Haircut

You can give your trimmed tresses a touch of chic femininity with a wavy bedhead style. It’s simple, elegant, and most importantly pretty easy to do, and amplifies every look that you dream of carrying!

What do You need? Curling iron, wide-teeth comb, round bristle brush.

Time It Takes? 5-7 minutes

Steps:

  1. Make sure your scalp is clean and your hair is washed.
  2. Gently comb your hair using a wide teeth comb to remove any knots.
  3. To add the effect of volume and texture to your hair, use texturizing spray. It’ll not only add volume but also hold effect for your tousled look. Some sprays come with heat and styling protecting formula as well.
  4. Use the 0.5-1 inch barrel on your curling iron for best effects.
  5. Grab a 2-3 inch thick section of tresses from the top down and start curling a bunch of your strands from the front of your head.
  6. Now move on to the sides of your head. Once you have your first curl, move to the back of your head and alternate the direction of your curls.
  7. Repeat until all hair is done.
  8. Brush your hair out using a round bristle brush.
  9. Now grab 5-6 locks of hair, much less this time, from the top of your head, from the top of your head, and curl.
  10. It’s time to spritz some setting spray so your locks stay “tousled” but not tousled.

Pro-Tip: Washing your hair the night before you plan on using a curler.

Sport Straight, Short Blunt Lob

If you get all angsty about chopping your locks but still need some edginess in your look, a long bob or lob is just for you. It's simple, refreshing, and doesn't need you to go all chop-chop on hair.

What do You need? Flat iron, hairdryer, shine spray, hair cream/mousse, comb, clips, boar bristle brush.

Time It Takes? 7-8 minutes

Steps:

  1. Wash your hair thoroughly, then apply hair cream generously onto your tresses, and blow-dry your hair.
  2. Gently untangle your tresses using a comb, if needed. Brush your hair away from your face using a boar bristle brush, which helps in adding volume to your hair.
  3. Now using a flat iron straighten your hair by diving them into four-six sections (as per your convenience).
  4. After straightening is done, gently brush your strands, spritz some setting hair, if your hair is not naturally straight and you’re good to go.

Pro-Tip: Always protect your hair from heat styling tools by using a protecting serum or cream on your hair before ironing.

Scintillating Pixie Bob

If your hair is short and coloured, add some layers and, voila, you’d be ready to rock every outfit. This fun hairstyle is ideal for those who are always on the go and love to have fuss-free affair.

What do You need? Setting Serum/mousse/gel, setting spray, brush, wide-comb.

Time It Takes? 3-5 minutes

Steps:

  1. Wash and dry your hair.
  2. Comb your hair from the front of your head, the crown area, backward.
  3. Now take some setting serum on your hands and gently apply it on your head in the same manner as you combed in the previous step.
  4. Use a wide comb to spread the serum evenly on your hair, and then brush your hair from top to back.
  5. Make sure you also do this while doing the side of your head, above ear areas. And you’re done.

Pro-Tip: Always rinse your hair after washing in a blast of cold water for extra shine.

Curly-Haired

Buns are the most versatile hairdos, and much loved by our curly-haired queens. However, with traditional outfits, the simplicity of buns, added with flowers, can say much more than intended, and always the good stuff. So this festive season, give your curls some resting time while you can have all the bun, we mean, fun!

What do You need? Heat protectant, comb, curling iron, dry shampoo or talcum powder.

Time It Takes? 8-10 minutes

Steps:

  • Bobby pins, scrunchie, flowers.
  • Take some pins and clip up the top section of your hair. Do it on hair from the top of your ears across the top of your head.
  • Pull up the remaining hair and form a low ponytail.
  • Twist it around to form a bun and use bobby pins to secure the bun in place. You can keep it messy if you like.
  • Now, unclip the top section and do a side part. You can part your hair as you usually do.
  • Twist the top right side and wrap it around your bun. Wrap it under your bun. Pin in place with bobby pins.
  • On the left side, part your hair into two sections and twist the lower section back around your bun first. Now twist it over the top of your bun.
  • Now, go on and twist the last section back. Check your front hair and if you like it, then you can pin the twist around your bun.
  • Use a setting spray and you’re good to go.
  • Pro-Tip: Maintain your haircut with regular trims and treat your scalp and hair the right way.
