To Do List Before Leaving For US Army Boot Camp / Basic Training
Article #3 In this article, I will compile a list of things that should be done before leaving for basic training. I will add things to the list that should benefit both a young 18 year old person straight out of high school to someone who is in their late 20's that's married and has children. The list will either help you out or it doesn't. I know each person is different in their seasons of life but I know a lot of people joined the military straight out of high school as enlisted. That is to all the branch of the military not just the United States Army.

What Questions To Ask A US ARMY RECRUITER Before Joining The US Army - "Army Strong"
Article #2 There are many young people who are just in high school who are thinking about joining the military. This article is for you or someone who is thinking of talking to a US Army Recruiter, who has many questions. I will give you some questions to ask your recruiter because recruiters will not give you advice unless you ask. Their main objective is to get you through the door and raise your right hand and ship you to basic training. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of recruiters out there that are willing to help and answer any questions even give you advice. But, remember they recruit a lot of people especially if they are a recruiter in the big city like New York City or Dallas, Texas. They will definitely get you through the door quick, as long as you sign those dotted lines.

"If we want peace, somebody has to do the fighting..."
Another list of random memories from my time as a GI. And commencement: 1.) I once saw a lieutenant (LT) completely stun one of his fellow officers during combatives (hand to hand) training with a series of palm strikes that were supposed to be open hand slaps. Miscommunication.

NUMB3RS Vol. 3
Getting right to it: 37.) The Ithaca 37, aka the Model 37, looks extremely familiar as far as military shotguns go. I don't know much about it besides it being ambidextrous and based on an early 20th century patent by Browning, according to Wikipedia.

NUMB3RS Vol. 2
Picking right up where I left off: 21.) I turned 21 on a base in Iraq called FOB (Forward Operating Base) Warhorse. Sure enough Command Sergeant Major (CSM) G. remembered; and only one of my Battle Buddies First Sergeant(?) (1SG) S. (I believe a Specialist [SPC] at the time) couldn't resist the urge to get in the Bday licks if memory serves me right.
