Her creative skills and passions came together beautifully in her submission to the Vocal+ exclusive Members-Only challenge (supported by Memberful), where she ultimately won the largest payout in Vocal challenge history. Vocal SpotlightPublished 3 years ago in ResourcesHow To Edit Your Published Vocal Stories!
It happened again. You spent five hours writing the perfect Vocal article. You got so excited by the fact you finished, you accidentally hit "submit for review" before deleting any spelling or grammar mistakes. Or maybe you did check for mistakes, but you missed a couple in your editing session. If only the article wasn't locked while pending for review - you could take them out right now!

Marcel Grabowiecki is an extraordinarily passionate and driven writer, actor, producer, and director based out of London, UK. Vocal TeamPublished 3 years ago in ResourcesIntroducing Quick Edit
About a month ago, I reflected on how far Vocal has come, owing in large part to the feedback that we’ve received from you, our creator community. From the introduction of Creator Bonuses, to a major site redesign and the Vocal Ambassador Program, we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve built thanks to you. And we’re just as excited about what’s in store for the Vocal community as we continue to provide you with the tools that you need to create better stories.
Justin @ VocalPublished 3 years ago in ResourcesCreator Spotlight: Joe Shetina
Joe Shetina is a queer writer, poet, and playwright from Chicago, Illinois. Amongst the many facets of their literary prowess, we find Joe's ability to establish trust with the reader most impressive. Whether that's in a fictional tale of post-apocalyptic Chicago, or in a non-fictional reflection piece on flatulence in middle school gym class, Joe's authority over the narratives they tell leads readers away from storyline skepticisms that so-often plague even the most experienced storytellers.

In a world often starved for good news, one headline on Thursday offered cause for celebration. After passing through the U.S. Congress earlier in the week, a bill was signed into law by President Biden making June 19th, colloquially referred to as "Juneteenth," a federal holiday.

Suri Chan is an artist and poet who decorates the internet with beautifully-illustrated, primarily free-verse poetry. Her illustrations add a modest and genuine feel to her work, creating an open space for poetry-lovers and non-lovers alike to enjoy, reflect, and follow along to the narrative behind the stanzas. They create a dream-like layer to her work and inspire a deeper level of connection. A proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Suri inspires her followers to challenge and break free from stale assumptions while offering an honest perspective on what it's like to be newly queer.

There is no learning curve to understanding the appeal to Lindsay and her work. She's charismatic, approachable, and downright hilarious at first impression; and, as long-time fans, we can say with full confidence that she only gets funnier with time.

Vocal TeamPublished 3 years ago in ResourcesAn Update on Updates: Vocal’s Upcoming Features
Two years ago, in May of 2019, we introduced Founding Memberships to Vocal+, which asked our creators to be some of the first to test out Vocal+ membership. We’ve always relied on creator feedback to help us build new features and services to improve the Vocal community. And now, a year and a half since we launched recurring Vocal+ memberships, Vocal has grown significantly—we’re now home to over 1 million creators and their stories, and over 25,000 Vocal+ members.
