YOUR POWER

Only you are!

By No sePublished 2 years ago • 3 min read
Love is all.

When you feel angry, sad, or scared, remember that no one has the power to make you feel insufficient, insignificant, or incomplete. As an adult, you can no longer hand over your personal power, your responsibility, or your emotional stability to others. This is your journey, your life, and no one should have authority over it. Listen to what others have to say, but maintain your autonomy. You should not allow anyone to take away your ability to decide for yourself. No one breathes for you or makes your heart beat. Although the words and actions of others may awaken emotions within you, it is important to understand that those feelings were already inside you. They were not caused by external factors, but simply released. Allow yourself to fully feel these emotions and let them flow. Don’t block their movement; they want to circulate, they seek expression, and when you allow them to do so, you begin to understand their nature. Avoiding or suppressing your emotions only prolongs their presence. The emotions you experience, although sometimes intense or uncomfortable, are not a punishment. It is essential to observe how your mind tries to find someone to blame, looking outside of yourself for some cause to justify what you feel. The mind creates stories of victimization, making you believe that someone else is responsible for your suffering. This process disconnects you from your emotions, from your breath, and from the present moment. Instead of being in touch with what you truly feel, your mind seeks punishment or revenge. While these impulses may seem natural, you must recognize that they are not necessary for your emotional well-being. When you connect with the present moment, with your inner self, you realize that you have the ability to express your truth honestly and clearly. You can make decisions based on your own intuition and needs, without feeling guilt or regret. In this state of presence, you can ask for what you need, decide whether you want to stay or leave, and share or not share your experience with others. These decisions come from a place of peace, not from emotional reactivity. You will not be trying to control others, nor will you allow them to control you. Control has no place in this state of being. There is nothing to feel upset or ashamed about. You are no longer a victim of your circumstances; instead, you are strong and stable in your own power, grounded and connected to your essence. Your value as a person does not depend on what someone else says, thinks, or wants from you. You are neither better nor worse than anyone else on this planet; you are equal to all, sharing the same essence of life. We are all connected to something bigger, something real and profound. Your strength lies in your ability to accept your thoughts and feelings without judging them, without trying to justify or change them. By honoring your own path, you are at peace with who you are at this moment. It is easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to others or believing that we need external approval to feel valuable. But remember that your intrinsic worth is not conditioned by others' opinions. You do not need external validation to be who you are. When you accept this truth, you release a great amount of energy that was previously spent on seeking recognition or approval. This released energy allows you to focus on what truly matters: your personal growth and well-being. When you feel strong emotions, it may be tempting to let yourself be carried away by them and react impulsively. However, you have the power to observe them calmly, without judging yourself. By doing this, you realize that emotions are not permanent; they are transient, like waves that come and go. You are not obligated to act on them, nor do they define who you are. Instead, you can learn from them, use them as tools to better understand yourself, and move forward on your path. At the end of the day, what matters most is your relationship with yourself. No one else can do that work for you. Only you can decide how you want to live your life, how you want to respond to the situations that arise, and how you want to feel in your day-to-day life. It is an ongoing process, but it is deeply liberating when you realize that you have control over your own life, your own emotions, and your own destiny. You are here, present, strong, and valuable, at peace with the place you find yourself now. Always remember that life is not about being perfect or avoiding difficulties, but about learning to navigate through them with grace and acceptance. Every emotion, every challenge, is an opportunity to grow and reconnect with your deepest essence. So, keep moving forward, with confidence and without fear, knowing that you have everything you need within you to face whatever life presents.
